Public stargazing sessions and outreach at Francis Park (in St. Louis Hills near Ted Drewes), weather permitting. Anyone interested is welcome to join us. Feel free to bring observing gear or just stop by and take a look. Observing location is on Tamm Avenue at Itaska Street, next to the sidewalk. Event cancelled if skies are clouded out or for precipitation.
Stargazing sessions are presented by the Saint Louis Astronomical Society and hosted by Bill and Rita Breeden.

Highway 40 or 44 to Hampton Ave SouthGo South on Hampton to Eichelberger AveTurn RIGHT on Eichelberger Ave (at the Dairy Queen)Turn RIGHT on Tamm Ave.Go two blocks, and park on the same side of the street as the park, at the cross-street Itaska Street. We set up next to the sidewalk. PARK INFORMATION
Francis Park closes at 10:00 PM.Restrooms are located in a nearby playground but are sometimes locked. Nearest restrooms are at the Dairy Queen the intersection of Hampton Ave. and Eichelberger Ave.

FREE Parking
FREE planetarium show at 7pm
Public Telescope night on the archery field next to the SLSC Planetarium in Forest Park starting at dusk and going until 10pm. Come join us for a free look at the night sky through a variety of telescopes.
The St. Louis Science Center will also feature the free "Sky Tonight" seasonal night sky show at 8pm. in the Orthwein Starbay inside the planetarium. This planetarium presentation will be a tour of the constellations and planets of this month.

Directed by Nicholas Tamarkin and featuring local Equity actors Pamela Reckamp and John Bratkowski, this stage production of A Starry Messenger is a show for all ages. A biography of Galileo Galilei and a fascinating exploration of science in society; using humor and drama, A Starry Messenger presents Galileo's scientific discoveries amidst the the
historical situation of the 1600s and the conflicts betwen religion, philosophy, and the new-born scientific method.
