Some examples are screens used in a railway station, Teletext on the television or pages from a website.
Public information systems work when they receive information.
Information is collected from a sensor. The public information system processes the
data and displays the information in a bar chart so it is easy to read.
Public information systems are required where there is a lot of public.
It is also required where the data is fluctuating a lot.
Places like these are the stock markets.
Train StationPublic information system is needed at the train station because public need the information of where train is and when it will leave.
AirportPublic information system is needed at the air port because public need the information of where the plane is and when it will leave.
Stock MarketDue to the fast fluctuation of the stocks going high or low. Public need to be informed about this information so public information systems are used.
