Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Part Time Post Graduate Programmes offered by JNTUH,Kukatpally Campus, Hyderabad for the academic year 2011 as detailed below:

ADMISSIONS : For the above programmes, admission will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination conductedby JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Qualifying mark at the entrance examination will be 25%(no minimum for SC & ST candidates).

EMPLOYMENT: For the above programmes candidates must be employed on regular service basis in and around Hyderabad and have an

experience of atleast one (1) year by 30th June, 2011 after acquiring the prescribed qualification are only eligible

to apply.

GENERAL : Eligibility Criteria, intake in each course, the format of application, general instructions, formats of some certificates, information

to candidates, syllabii and time table for entrance test are available on the University website www.jntuh.ac.in Interestedcandidates can download from the website.(A4 Size). No separate applications are kept for sale by the University. The filled in

application along with all necessary documents and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn(not earlier than 21.03.2011) in favour of THE REGISTRAR, JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD, payable at Hyderabad,

on any nationalised bank should reach the Director, Admissions, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085 on or before

25.04.2011 by 4.00 pm.

Separate application is to be submitted for each of the 14 disciplines. The University will not be responsible for Postal delay / Loss in transit.

ADMISSIONS : Admission will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination to be conducted at Hyderabad. Candidateswill not be paid any scholarships. All programmes are of 6 semesters duration. The qualifying mark at the entranceexamination is 25% (no minimum for SC & ST candidates).

RESERVATIONS : Admission will be made with reservations for SC/ST/BC/DISABLED as per rules. 33 1/3% of seats are reserved forwomen.

1. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall after the commencement of examination and not allowed to leave before thelast 15 minutes of the Examination.

2. The Hall Ticket shall be produced at the time of examination, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear forthe examination.

3. Answers must be in blue/black/blue-black ink. Sketch pen or Ink of any other colour is not allowed.4. THE HALL TICKET SHALL BE PRESERVED TILL THE TIME OF ADMISSION, without which

the candidate is not eligible for admission.

5. No traveling expenses will be paid for journey undertaken for appearing the Entrance Examination / Admissions.6. Adoption of any kind of unfair means at the time of examination or taking part in any act of impersonification will render

the applicant liable for cancellation of his/her script and forfeiture of his / her claim for appearing the examination.

Decision of the Chief Superintendent of the Examination Centre shall be final in all these matters.

7. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance at the Examination does not automatically entitle a candidate for admission.8. Mathematical Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Cell Phones and other electronic gadgets, will not be allowed into the

examination Hall.

INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES

a) ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :Admission will be based on merit from among those qualifying in the Entrance Test to be conducted at Hyderabad as per

the time table given. Candidates securing equal marks in the Entrance Test will be bracketed for the purpose of award of

ranking and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration, older candidate being given priority. The

Entrance Test is of one hour duration and consists of objective type of questions.

b) EMPLOYMENT :

For the above programmes candidates must be employed on regular service basis in and around Hyderabad and have an experience of

atleast one (1) year by 30th June, 2011 after acquiring the prescribed qualification are only eligible to apply.

c) RESERVATIONS :Reservation of SC/ST/BC/PH categories will be as per rules. 33 1/3% of seats are reserved for women in all categories.

d) Separate application must be submitted for each discipline.e) Candidates must fill in the course registered, specialization and serial number as given in the P.G. programme sheet.f) Minimum Number of candidates for starting a programme is 50% of sanctioned strength.g) THE FOLLOWING FEES ARE PAYABLE:

i) Entrance Test and Registration fee ofRs.1000/- to be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft payable toThe Registrar JNT University Hyderabad at Hyderabad, at the time of submitting the application.

ii) Tuition fee is Rs.4,000/- per subject, registered per semester.h) APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING :

i) Bank Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (separate application for each course applied);

ii) Attested copy of degree, date of birth, service and salary certificates;

iii) Employment and NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer in the prescribed proforma.

iv) Integrated permanent Community Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC in the prescribed proforma; one from theRevenue Officer and another from the Head of the Institution last studied or from service records and Medical

Certificate from District Medical Board for PH candidates.

v) Three self addressed envelopes of 25x10 cms. Size duly stamped (affixing Rs.5.00 stamps).

i) The applications duly filled in and complete in all respects together with necessary documents including Demand Draftshould reach the DIRECTOR, ADMISSIONS, JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD, KUKATPALLY,

HYDERABAD 500 085 on or before 25.04.2011 by 4.00 pm.

Applications received after the due date and incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be

entertained in this regard.

j) Entrance Test and Registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.k) The University reserves the right to make alterations in the intake and rules for admission.l) Appearance at the Entrance Examination does not automatically entitle one for admission.m) If it is detected that a candidate has been admitted due to any mistake made inadvertently in the processing of applications

and during the admission stage, the University reserves the right to cancel the seat at any stage.

n) Admission will be closed within one month of the commencement of the first semester class work irrespective of thevacancies.

o) If any dispute concerning admissions in the courses of JNTUH arises, the jurisdiction shall remain with the Courts inHyderabad only and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.

p) The University will not be responsible for postal delay/loss in transit.q)Hall Tickets will not be posted to the candidates. It is the responsibility of the

candidates to collect the Hall Tickets on 12th
