It means anything a person or animal does that can be observed in some way. Behaviour enlight mind or thought or feeling can be observed, recorded and studied. So we define psychology as the science of behaviour.

NATURE OF BEHAVIOUR It is a collective name of our all activities

. These activities are following :- - Motor Activities : walking , dancing swimming etc.- Cognitive Activities : it is also known as

imaginative activities. Eg: thinking , reasoning etc.

- Affective activities : feeling , happy , sad and angry

‘psyche’ means ‘state of change from time to time’ & ‘logos’ means ‘study of soul’.

psychology was found in Germany about 1912 by Max werther

and his colleages Kurt Koffka & Wol gang kholer . Gestald means form or configuration. The Gestald Psychologist maintain that mind should be thought of as resulting from all pattern of sensory activity and organisation within the spectrum.
