The service has been provided by CONTACT through the Black Country Partnership NHS FT; however the service will cease on the 30 November 2011 and will be provided by Clinical Psychology Associates (CPA) with effect from 1 December 2011 . CPA is a national organsiation and will provide Counselling and Clinical Psychology service(s). They are registered with the Health Professionals Council/The British Psychological Society and I attach further information that you may find useful. I should be pleased if you would circulate the attached flyer in your mess rooms and as youconsider appropriate. Also, my office will liaise with your Post Graduate Centre Managersand or HR representatives to ensure that the information is disseminated to those who needto know of the change.
All doctors in training will receive an email correspondence to their deanery email addressand we will have a message posted on the deanery website notifying them of the change.
The Deanery expects to have reviewed the full range of services provided under theProfessional Support and Doctors in Difficulty Programme by spring 2012 and as part of thecommunication process I will write to you again to update on any changes to how the serviceoperates and the services available.
