The tarot is divided into two parts the Minor and Major Arcana within the deck ofcards. The Minor Arcana comes from modern playing cards. It is composed of 56cards that are divided into four suits. The suit of Cups represents relationships andemotions. The suit of Wands represents actions and business. The suit of Pentaclesrepresents material concerns and the manifestation of creative ideas. As mentioned earlier, both the Minor and Major Arcana tarot cards are linked toastrology and numerology. The key to understanding the meaning of the tarot canalso be discovered through numbers. Each number on a card, expresses an esotericmeaning. The numbers of the Minor Arcana are the tools used to help us gain agreater awareness about our life lessons.

The numbers of each of the suits are 1-10. The Major Arcana is composed of 22cards that contain archetypes and symbols, which are both intuitive and spiritual innature. The Major Arcana ranges from the ‘fool’ to ‘the world’ card. The MajorArcana can reveal life experiences and important upcoming events in our life. TheMajor Arcana which has been linked to astrology, contains esoteric knowledge. Theastrological symbols of the tarot can reveal many insights about our humanexperiences and our spiritual nature. An Unusual Dinner Party

It is I, Amadeus. Many years ago, we sought your attention. You were frightened,yet curious. This dinner party set your mind in motion, and you feel it uncanny thatafter all of these years, you are now a channel. Once frightened, now in reverence.

Love and Light, Amadeus.

It was thirty-five years ago that I was first introduced to the psychic world at myparents’ dinner table. They had invited me and my then husband, Steve, to dinner.My sister and a family friend, Frank had also been invited. Frank, on his way toTexas from California for a vacation, had stopped in Tucson to visit with my parentsfor the day. Dinner was filled with chatter as Steve and I got to know Frank. I wascurious about him, since my parents rarely had company, and I wanted to knowwhy he had been chosen to join us.

My parents had met Frank while they were living in Elk Grove, a small communitynear Sacramento, California. He had been to dinner at their home, and my sisterhad met him then. She was still living at home at the time and attending the localhigh school. My mom and dad had since moved back to Tucson (along with mysister, brother and, of course, the cat), and they were eager to enjoy their friendFrank in their new surroundings.

When dinner was over, the conversation turned to religion, and then to the spiritworld. I had never met anyone like Frank, who had such immense knowledge ofGod, Jesus, and religious teachings. I was fascinated and settled in for a long, lovelyevening, as I wanted more of this religious energy. He seemed so confident abouthis knowledge of God and religion, and that intrigued me.

Conflicting feelings battled within me when Frank suggested a séance, but heseemed so clear in his religious knowledge that I felt comfortable enough to agree.Still, I will never forget my deep-seated fear, as we moved forward, that Source –my name for God or a Higher Power – would not like the direction the evening wastaking. Growing up, I’d been taught in church that the spirit world was the work ofthe devil – and yet here I was in the comfort of my parents’ home, and they seemedhappy enough to move forward. How could I resist, given that I was their child, and(at that time in my life) did as they wished?

I have since learned that the spirit world is not the work of the devil, but quite theopposite. In fact, I now know that this realm is based on unconditional love. (Frankused the word “God,” but in my attempt to bring this book to those who do notbelieve in God, or who call this higher power by a different name, I use the term“Source.” Today, when my Guides and Others speak through me, they use “God,” solater on, when I share their messages with you, I use that term to preserve theirexact wording.)

Frank asked for everyone’s agreement before he began. I paused briefly and then,after deep contemplation, nodded yes. I reasoned that my fear was based on thosechurch teachings I’d grown up with, but Frank’s intelligence, quiet presence, and hiscaring and affection for my mom and dad put me at ease.

Frank said that each of us could ask a question when his Spirit Guide came through.He explained that she was a woman named Shay, and when he spoke, a woman’svoice did come through him! At that moment, I knew it was no longer him, but Spiritspeaking. When it was my turn to ask a question, I told Shay about a dream that I’drelived over and over. As I spoke, Shay told my sister to take my hand because Iseemed frightened. This surprised me, as my sister is eight years younger than meand was in high school at the time – and I was the mother of two!

Shay went on to explain that the dream was in my subconscious, and that it camefrom a past life. It seems I was married to a German officer in World War II, andsince I was living in a city, not a rural village, the war was an everyday, real-lifenightmare! During the battles, I found myself running from one building to the next,trying to outrun the shells that pummeled the city. I always felt such fear when thisdream came to me, and would awaken feeling that it was so real. But Shay’sexplanation that it was a past-life memory felt so right, and to this day, that dreamhas never returned, no matter how many times I repeat this story.

Shay then spoke to my husband, Steve, telling him that he had so much lovesurrounding him, but took none of it in and gave none of it out. Knowing this to betrue, I began to think that there might be something of value to this eerie evening,after all. Then Shay had another message for me. She knew I was giving a friendsome valuable help, although my husband said I was just being used and to dropher. To my amazement, Shay recommended that I continue the friendship.Interestingly enough, that friend is still part of my life, and Steve is no longer myhusband.

All the guests, including my parents, received messages pertinent to them, butthose messages are not part of my memory. I do recall, though, that the eveningended with lightheartedness and pleasure, leaving me a believer in all that hadhappened and determined to delve into what I had learned.

When you're stressed, grieving, feeling lost; remembering to get in the "moment" isthe best practice to get into in life because living in the past is generally aboutthoughts of regret, how we could have done something better or how we wish therehad been a better outcome. Similarly, projecting into the future to escape a painfulnow brings up fear and uncertainty. Either way, not living in the present momentrobs us of our peace and our ability to see clearly the opportunities that arehappening in our now. If you will discipline yourself to be present today, all day, you will begin to be awareof opportunities of all kinds happening right in front of you. These are opportunitiesfor forgiveness and healing; for a kindness being offered or the opportunity to offera kindness, as well as hints of which direction to take to resolve questions anddilemmas.

Life unfolds in the ever present now. When you become a mindful observer youbegin to see that your questions are getting answered and your way is beingrevealed. Sometimes clarity comes from something obvious, but most often theclues are subtle like subtext and it is up to you to put it all together.

A great practice is to become a witness to what is happening everyday rather thanto be so immersed in "life as usual" that you fail to observe what has transpired inyour day as clues in a movie. Pay attention to the questions you are looking forguidance for and contemplate what happened in your day. A conversation, a tvshow that you were drawn to watch with subject matter that speaks to you, athought that crossed your mind, a bumper sticker with a message on a car thatpulled in front of you, a song that jumped out at you, a magazine that was left atthe place where you buy your coffee. If you've asked, you are being answered, butSpirit is relevatory by nature. By being present in the now you will become awarethat the answers you seek are right in front of you. Be daring and release your overactive logical mind and your skepticism that what is unfolding before you is notrelated.

Start each day by putting Holy Spirit in charge and do your part by paying attentionto all things large and small. Make it a habit to recount your day so that you becomean expert at identifying the threads that are unfolding to move you in the rightdirection. Here is the truth. We often seek for answers that are concrete, a new job,a new love, a new city to move to. Often guidance moves us into situations whereour growth can occur by learning lessons that allow us to remove the blocks that

keep us from our good and our happiness . Contrary to popular belief, we don'tgenerally really know what's really good for us or what we truly need. There's aRolling Stones song that says " You can't always get what you want, but you getwhat you need." If you are willing to switch from object consciousness to spiritualgrowth you will find yourself being guided to a happier more peaceful life, and youwill ultimately get to where you truly want to be. Even if the answer is different thanwhat you originally were striving for.

Trust. Be here now and be present. Stay in your heart and become an observer. Bewilling to grow and take action when you are moved to follow your hunches, yourintuition and perhaps most importantly, your heart. In this moment now, and the next moment that follows are the clues, direction andrevelations you are praying for. Go forward each day moment to moment in loveand trust.

things natural that come from nature. I feel that if we can tune in to the beauty, energy and spirit of

plants we can heal ourselves mentally, emotionally and oftentimes physically.

Last week we talked about how to make DIY cleaning products for a safer, cleanerhome environment.

We will add to that now with a DIY “Thieves Oil.”

Today, with all we are dealing with, lets talk about this essential oil blend datingback to the Bubonic Plague in Europe in 1413 that devastated a large part of France.

A group of French thieves formulated and wore a special aromatic blend of clove,

rosemary, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, vinegar, and lemon. They would tuck thisblend on a cloth in their belts and steal from the very sick and dying but never yetcaught the disease themselves.

It also became apparent at this time that the populations in the small towns andvillages near the tanneries where essential oils were emitted into the air during theleather tanning processes, also stayed healthy.

While there are many variations of the Thieves Oil blend, these basic ingredientslisted above capture the essence of the true Thieves blend.

While they stood the test of time, what makes them so beneficial for our health?

Some of these benefits are:

Clove Essential Oil:Contains a compound called eugenol which is known for its antibacterial properties.

It can prove effective in curing acne, reduce swelling and kill infectious bacteria atthe same time.

Relieves respiratory conditions like cough and asthma.

Aquarius Full Moon - August 3rd 2020

PORTAL 11:11This week’s Aquarius Full Moon at 11.46 degrees arrives soon after the closing ofthe portal of the Angelic Realm, 11:11. A Full Moon phase is either a time of closureor the peaking of energy. Many of you often tell me how you see the synchronicityof time and numbers when you notice repeating numbers. 11, 22, 33, 44 etc. whichare known as Master Numbers. But, also, the greater numbers 111, 222, 333, 444,and so on to include 1111- the Great Awakening Code - these are consideredmessages from Archangels which we should pay close attention. When you see11:11 it comes with a message from Spirit signifying there is an open doorway toyou through which you can access higher divine guidance, expanded consciousness,and bask in an incredible frequency of love, light, and healing. When I see 11:11, Itake it as a sign to make a Wish!

OPPOSITES ATTRACT and OPPOSESimilar to last month’s moon chart, this one brings with it a polarity switch due tothe opposition, Sun to Moon, as well as Saturn/Jupiter once again lined up next toPluto, while Mars in Aries sits beside Chiron (our emotional triggers get tugged on.)Neptune in Pisces is no help as he is in a square (tussle) with the Nodes in Geminiand Sagittarius. Uranus being the ruler of Aquarius is siding with Pluto on this onebecause both are in earth signs being extremely stubborn and controlling. Some ofmy readers may feel hopeful and optimistic for the future one minute, yet, on theother hand some of you may find yourself getting angry and striking out randomlyat those closest to you, for just explaining the facts.

The Sun currently in the fire sign of Leo, wants to play as a child might, and notwant to focus on any issues of reality. While the Moon opposes it in the air sign of

Aquarius, making us ‘feel’ as if the next shoe is going to drop. The Moon is thefastest moving body of energy within a chart. Technically, it is not considered a‘planet’ but instead is a satellite which travels around our Earth. We follow thecourse of her energy, as she has a special way of changing our moods and emotions(especially the water signs).

I often use this example during readings, if you love broccoli you will naturally eat itin just about all forms: raw, steamed, creamed, or smothered in cheese. However, ifyou cannot stand it, then you will not even let it touch your plate. The Moonplacement in your Natal Birth Chart is equally important to your Sun sign. The Sunrepresents our strength, ego, and to some extent describes our physical features.The Moon is everything we love, hate, or ‘intuitively’ sense.

When you are in opposing viewpoints with someone, it means you are not inagreement. The wiser person might suggest agreeing, to disagree, and still findcommon ground which keeps your friendship alive. A lesser evolved person, mightinstead get so upset they block you from texting or calling, choosing instead tosever any kind of relationship. If the relationship is toxic, then putting an end to themisery is a good thing. However, many times, it is not toxic, you are just beingtemperamental or hormonal. Yes, Guys, this includes you Men, too.

Last month when Venus was in retrograde motion an old client of mine, who movedoverseas for work years ago called my telephone number. She stated, “OMG! I can’tbelieve I got through to you on this number!” It has been 7 years since I last did areading for her. My telephone number is the original number I was given on my veryfirst cell phone back in 1999! And, as most of you know, my AOL email is still intact– as I have been sending out free newsletters and writing a blog since 2009. In mynatal birth chart, Aquarius sits in my 2nd house of things I possess and value, inbetween planets Saturn in Capricorn and Jupiter at 4 degrees of Aquarius. If Ilooked at my life and compared it to an athlete in training, I would tell you I am nota ‘sprinter’. I am the long-distance, power walker. I enjoy stability. A creature ofpersistence and reliability. To some that may be boring, but for me, my journeytakes me to where I appreciate the beauty (Venus rules the 2nd house and remindsme beauty is in the eye of the beholder). The importance, for me, is not getting tomy destination, in a certain number of minutes. But to notice who I meet and what Isee along the way. That includes the friends I make. I am very blessed in thatdepartment. I recently spent a few hours with a dear friend who I once worked foras her personal masseuse. The laughs we shared both then and now, are pricelessto me. What once started out as a business arrangement turned into a life-longfriendship. Aquarius is a wonderful sign for meeting like-minded friends.You will need to see in what natal house this Full Moon in Aquarius will land for you.You may need to see where transiting Uranus or natal Uranus is, too. After all,Astrology is just one big puzzle. Once you put the pieces together a messagepresents itself. Full Moons often reveal things which are hidden. The secret could beabout ourselves, our subconscious thoughts and behaviors OR the secret exposedcould be about someone near to us. Aquarius rules over groups of people. And thereare many groups of people thoroughly unhappy with what is happening on ourplanet right now.

When the Sun and Moon sit side by side, under a New Moon transit, they exchangegreat support and mutually build up each other’s strengths. A New Moon is the besttime to plant a seed and watch it grow. Yet, under a Full Moon, the Moon is doingher own thing while the Sun is lighting up all the way on the other side of the transitchart. The Moon must tap into its own light to illuminate the darkness of the night

sky. Furthermore, when I run your charts for a reading, I also run a Solar ReturnChart and a Progressed Moon Chart which will show me where both your strengthand emotional focus will be for the next 12 months.

Knowing where the planets will be, in a year from now, as well as what eclipses areheaded your way, I can see further out as to how they might influence or affect yourlife. This month, the illumination goes back to 2017 and ahead to 2022.

PLAYERS IN THIS GAMEThis current transit chart shows more than just an opposition between the Sun andthe Moon. A Square is also taking place between Venus in Gemini and Neptune inPisces. FYI -Pisces and Virgo square Gemini and Sagittarius. This is a challengingand often difficult aspect to deal with. This energy will be present for the next twoyears due to the remaining 2020, 2021 & 2022 eclipses. North and South Nodes willbe in the sign of Gemini and Sagittarius for the next 15 months. Gemini and Libraare fellow air signs to Aquarius. Triangular aspects in astrology charts are usuallyextremely fortunate events. Jupiter will be moving into Aquarius at the end of theyear, he tends to expound upon any energy he gets near. If it expands on yourstrengths – wonderful. If he expands on your weaknesses, well, that may be anotherissue. Saturn also will be moving into Aquarius. As one of its ancient ruling planets,Saturn wants to control you in some way. Saturn is the Karmic Teacher. If you haveworked hard, a reward is coming. If you are a slacker...well, let us see what thatgets you.

FOR EXAMPLE: All this togetherness has not been a time of bliss for all couples. Iexpect with Jupiter and Saturn moving into Aquarius at the end of this year, therewill be many couples who decide to divorce. We have already begun to hear ofcelebrity couples taking the bait, and jumping ship, only to land in the lap of thenew person. Jupiter gives a person grandiose idea. Ideas of ‘I can do better’ thanthis match, and in the sign of groups (Aquarius), they may start as a hidden internetcommunication or dating. This past weekend, I was explaining to a male client, CHANGE – of any kind in ourlife – can often push us to over think. Most of us are such quick thinkers it is hard toshut our minds off when we are confronted with a new situation. The WHAT,WHERE, WHEN, WHY questions pop up so fast we may feel overwhelmed.

Here are 5 tips I use to stay in the present moment.

1) I focus on my breathing. I stop whatever I am doing and breathe in through mynose to the count of four, opening up my diaphragm fully, then hold my breath tothe count of 8, and breathe out through my mouth to the count of 8 (or longer). Thecounting gives my mind something to do while I focus on the oxygen coming intomy body. I cherish this moment of ‘in = spire= ation’ INSPIRATION

2) I acknowledge the Beauty which surrounds me. Whether this be laughter I hearfrom little children playing, a hummingbird coming to visit a flower beside me, orjust the sound of the air as it whispers through the trees as I sit outside on a sunnyday. I can always find the beauty in my surroundings. Beauty helps me toappreciate being alive. Being alive reminds me I still have a pulse and a purpose forbeing here.

3) I check in with my body. Even as I get older and adjust to the aches and pains ofmy joints, I also acknowledge that without my limbs, vision, or hearing, my lifewould be tougher than what it is. I give thanks to what I have. I stretch my bodyout each morning and give a silent prayer of thanks to my feet for keeping mestanding, my legs for being strong, my heart for pumping blood through my veins,and for it always actively finding ways to love me and others, to include all theheartbreaks its endured. I also thank my mind for its clarity of thought which Iactively depend. I make a conscious effort to eat more foods which are alive notdead. Plant food and fruit are a big part of my diet. I follow what is right for myblood type, which happens to include a bit of protein (meat) every once in a while. Ilisten intuitively when my body speaks. Sometimes it is not a physical but anemotional, mental, or spiritual issue I may be holding on to. I do not ignore my bodyor try to ‘shush’ it when it has a concern. Try listening this month to your body andsee what it wants to tell you.

4) Get involved in a project. Whether its working on a personal hobby likewoodworking, or throwing myself into teaching my youngest grandchildren a sport, Ihave many ways to bring my mental and emotional focus out of my head and intosomething productive. Even making and baking cookies from scratch can redirectyour thoughts long enough to change the direction of your heart. The Universegravitates to what you spend so much time thinking and feeling about. If you spendhours fretting and worrying about the future, or feeling remorseful and regretfulabout your past, the Universe hears you and says “As you wish! Its my command!”As for me... I don’t want those to be the feelings the Universe, Angels and SpiritGuides, expound upon. I focus on feelings of happiness and joy.

5) I dance. At any given moment in my day, I may hear a song and choose todance. I’ve been known to grab a partner, yup, even my Golden Retriever, PrincessLeia could attestify, I’ll grab even the dog of the house and shake my booty. ThankGoodness, my daughter lives a bit away from the other houses on the block,because at 7AM, my grandkids and I might be performing the YMCA by The VillagePeople in the dining room in our pj’s or jumping to Elton John’s Benny and the Jets.How can you be sad, when you are having fun laughing and dancing?
