The Philadelphia Sports Medicine Congressis an annual educational program dedicated tocelebrating the storied past and advancing thebright future of sports medicine in Philadelphia.
We have established an annual tradition ofhonoring leaders in the field of sports m e d i c i n ewith our honorary lectures. The Joseph S. To r gLecture is given by a physician who has made asignificant contribution to the Sports MedicineC o m m u n i t y. This year we will honor Dr. RayM o y e r, Temple University’s Team Physician.
The Theodore C. Quedenfeld Lecture is givenby an athletic trainer who has made a significantcontribution to the field of sports medicine. Weare privileged to recognize his impact in the com-munity by continuing this important tradition. T h i syear we will be honoring Steve Bair ofOverbrook High School in South Jersey.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will focus on current concepts oncutting edge issues in sports medicine. We willhighlight all aspects of sports medicine.
Historical aspects of sports medicine inPhiladelphia will be highlighted.
This course is directed toward athletic trainers,physical therapists, physicians, and advancedpractice nurses and physician assistants.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Review critical issues faced by the sportsmedicine practitioner in the care of athletes.
Provide the most recent advances in care toathletes at all levels of competition.
Provide interactive learning of evaluative andtreatment techniques.
ACCREDITATION/CEUS
3B Orthopaedics is recognized by the NATABoard of Certification, Inc. to offer continuingeducation for certified athletic trainers. T h i sp r ogram has been approved for 6.0 CEUs.
