PSHE Curriculum – Content Overview

At the LQP, we follow Jigsaw, the mindful approach to PSHE. The Jigsaw programme brings together Personal, Social, Health Education as a

whole school approach to underpin children’s development. The Jigsaw approach also brings together SMSC, emotional literacy, social skills,

and spiritual development in a comprehensive scheme of learning. A lesson a week helps teachers to focus on their children’s needs and to

enjoy building relationships with their class, getting to know them better as unique human beings. The carefully though through scheme of work,

brings consistency and progression to our children’s learning in this vital curriculum area.
