Updates from the 1st Sem SY 2013-14 DISTRICT OF ILIGAN CITY PSALM T ODAY There were 132 delegates and more than 40 working staff who joined this much-anticipated PSALM Leadership Training Institute—Mindanao 2013 held last October 25 to November 1 at Mindanao Regional Bible College, General Santos City. Fifteen individuals (ten delegates and five working staff) came from the District of Iligan. District Ministries Planning Council and Retreat Maze Parks and Resort, June 7 Student Leaders and staff set off toward the direction of the district for the first semester at the same time enjoying one another’s company. Prayer and Fasting PSALM Center, August 4 Imploring the divine guidance of the Almighty God and declaring dependence upon Him, PSALMists participated in a whole-day prayer, worship, Scripture meditation, reflection, and fasting. Church Speak Team CCF-Aug4; ROLF-Aug11; ICCCI-Aug25; CGMI-Oct13 PSALM was blessed to promote among the four local churches its cause of winning and discipling the youth in the campuses in Iligan City. The CST aims to establish and strengthen partnerships among churches. PSALM 44th Anniversary Celebration PSALM Center, August 8 PSALMists celebrated the day PSALM was born in a rather fun and memorable way—pajama party.

Caring Circle Lessons Graduation ROLF, October 19

Sixty-one students satisfactorily completed the CCL Bible Study and were given due recognition during the CCL Graduation. Mr. Elvin E. Bayate, National Staff Director, graced the event as the speaker.

PSALM Leadership Training Institute—District 2013 ICCCI, September 27-30

Twenty-two students were trained in the Basic Team Building Laboratory of PSALM.

PSALM Reopens in MSU-Naawan This year PSALM was reopened in MSU-Naawan. With the help of PSALM Alumna Floremie Bagayna who is also an instructor in the said campus, a few students from IIT were able to connect with a group of students for Bible Study. Classroom and on-the-spot evangelisms were also conducted. Week after week discipleship happens, and by the end of the first semester, 10 students from MSU-Naawan finished their CCL. Lord willing these students will undergo training in how to share the Gospel and how to conduct Bible study.

start in other campuses in Iligan City (we will be

operating in Iligan Capitol College this semester)

student leaders

6. Organization of PSALM Alumni

7. New members of the Board of Directors, and

regular ministry partners

8. Good partnerships with local churches

PRAYER CORNER STATISTICAL RESULTS

On Evangelism 783 have been shared with the Gospel 649 responded positively to the Gospel On Discipleship 88 enrolled in the Caring Circle Lessons (CCL) Bible Study 61 finished the CCL 45 ushered to the local churches On Leadership 23 trained in Basic Level 6 trained in Advanced Level 3 trained in Specialized Level
