PSALM 33:22 Dear Friends and family, As I reflect back on this year, the word abundance rises to the surface. God has met us and abundantly provided for us in so many ways this year. Let me share just a few examples with you . . . ABUNDANCE IN FINANCES As you know, we ended last year still with a deficit in our ministry account. Anthony had spent a great amount of time and energy last year turning the Graf House ministry finances around and although the account was headed in the right direction, we still began this year in need of more. In March, our account finally cleared and we broke even for the first time in over two years! What a relief and cause for celebration! e relief of this financial burden has released us to give more attention and energy to relational and logistical ministry. We close this year with our account in the positive and praise the Lord for His abundant provision of funding that is necessary for this ministry to continue. We continue to have needs and He continues to provide through so many of you. ABUNDANCE ON FRIDAY NIGHTS Our weekly Friday night ministry of dinner, worship, and Bible Study has been growing all year. We often feel a decline in numbers during the summer months as people are traveling and there is a lot of transition in the military community during that time. However, this past summer we enjoyed our patio overflowing with people each week. at has continued right through the fall. We often have over 40 adults on a given Friday night packing out the Graf House. Military folks who after a long work week push through their weariness and come out because they are so thirsty for connection with others and time in the Word. We are helping to launch small groups through our military chapel in order to meet the needs of the many who still aren’t plugged-in but are longing for meaningful connection and spiritual filling. Not only have we grown in numbers, but we are seeing so many men and women growing in their faith and deepening their walks with God. Some are contemplating what it really means to follow Jesus for the first time. What a privilege it is for us to have front row seats to watch God’s abundance growing in their hearts! Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.PSALM 33:22

Dear Friends and family,

As I reflect back on this year, the word abundance rises to the surface. God has met us and abundantly provided for us in so many ways this year. Let me share just a few examples with you . . .

ABUNDANCE IN FINANCESAs you know, we ended last year still with a deficit in our ministry account. Anthony had spent a great amount of time and energy last year turning the Graf House ministry finances around and although the account was headed in the right direction, we still began this year in need of more. In March, our account finally cleared and we broke even for the first time in over two years! What a relief and cause for celebration! The relief of this financial burden has released us to give more attention and energy to relational and logistical ministry. We close this year with our account in the positive and praise the Lord for His abundant provision of funding that is necessary for this ministry to continue. We continue to have needs and He continues to provide through so many of you.

ABUNDANCE ON FRIDAY NIGHTSOur weekly Friday night ministry of dinner, worship, and Bible Study has been growing all year. We often feel a decline in numbers during the summer months as people are traveling and there is a lot of transition in the military community during that time. However, this past summer we enjoyed our patio overflowing with people each week. That has continued right through the fall. We often have over 40 adults on a given Friday night packing out the Graf House. Military folks who after a long work week

push through their weariness and come out because they are so thirsty for connection with others and time in the Word.

What a privilege it is for us to have front row seats to watch God’s abundance growing in their hearts!

truths about the Bible and getting to know their Maker. God provided abundantly through faithful men and women who have devoted time and care to these kids.

ABUNDANCE IN DISCIPLESHIP We have the honor of walking alongside several others as they journey in a deeper relationship with God. This year there are two couples in particular who we were able to have rich conversations with, to challenge and exhort, and to encourage and support in their calling to full-time ministry after the military. We experienced their growth and maturity in the faith as they struggled through challenging circumstances and difficult relationships. What a gift to get to journey with others as they too find abundant life in the Lord!

ABUNDANCE IN FAMILY LIFEWhile our ministry is thriving in so many ways, our family life has been more of a struggle. German school has been much more challenging than we had hoped. Alethia and Masami are making the best of it, but the language and cultural differences are proving to be daunting. It is taking its toll on them in various ways.

While we are so grateful that Anthony’s heart has healed, he is still very much recovering physically. This makes the size and scope of our ministry often feel overwhelming to him. With the Lord, we have overcome so many obstacles and challenges and we know that He will strengthen us to endure in these as well. In our weakness He sure is strong!

We trust that God is meeting us in our need, and we have had some sweet moments with Him in the midst of struggle. Would you pray with us that we would start to experience in our family life more of the abundance that we are experiencing in our ministry?

ABUNDANCE IN PARTNERSHIPS One last example of abundance that I’d like to share is you. Your support, encouragement, prayer, and love are so significant to us! We feel abundantly cared for and held up by you. The testimony of all that God is doing to change lives through the Graf House ministry is made possible by you and others like you saying yes to Him and to His Kingdom

work. I know that we aren’t the best at thanking you all personally as often as we would like to but know that we can’t thank you enough! What a blessing that God chooses to use us to build His Kingdom!

We pray for abundance in your life as well! May you experience the Lord’s abundant goodness, grace, and love wrapped up in the person of Jesus this Christmas season! After all, He came to bring us life and bring it abundantly (John 10:10 ESV).

Love and peace,Jessica, for Anthony, Alethia, Masami & Elise
