Sub: The procedure for celtification or oAlternativeEmployment on-ltbMedical Grounclso. Para 561 R) IRMM-2000)
The issue of revier,ving the existing procedure of certification forAlternative Employment on Medical Grounds (AEMG) and of formulating aprovision for re-medical examination of such staff, has treen examined and thefollowing decision as been aken by the Board:-
(a) The Authorized Medical Attendant AMA) will refer he case apers f theemployee to CMS IIC for a decision regarding certification for,'Alternative Emplolzment on Medical Grounds' after having exhausted llmethods of treatment.
(b) The CMS IIC shall then get the case examined by three member'DIVISIONAL MEDICAL COMMITTEE' comprising of Sr .DMO(A)/Addl. CMS(A) as the Chairperson and one of the other twoMembers hould be specialist n the field of disease.
(c) The recommendation f Committee will be approved by CMS I/C.(d) Re-medical examirration of such staff can be ordered by CMDI ZonalRailway within a period of 3 rnonths of certification, for random check/onany complaintlappeal or on the request received from the concernedPHOD.
(e) CMD will get his Re-medical xamination y a Medical Board ominatedin a differentdivisionwithin the Zone with CMS I/C as the Chairperson.The recommendations f the Board will be accepted y CMDlZonalRailway.
