    Packet Data Network Management

Vision : All CS/PS Core Trained personnel in India Region should become competent to Manage

Packet core network ( End to End Delivery).

Intent of the Program : This program will not cover the Individual Element depths, for which Individual

has to undergo product specific trainings. The Intent of the program is to make the person get a network

level understanding, viz call flow from device to applications (ISP/content providers). Familiarize with

kind of challenges we face in managing the data network (s)and teach the approach to analyze day to

day problem (s) and take corrective action with the support of product experts. The emphasis is more on

Managing the networks (Operations/Planning), interworking challenges etc.

    Objective:

The objective packet data network training is:

    1. End to end packet data network and service overview.2. Emphasis on network part of packet data from device/air interface to Packet core/application-

    VAS

    3. Various technology and protocol and their use /implementation in NSN network elements4. Detailed understanding of various call flow, use of network elements, their inter operability and

    inter-dependency

    5. Methodology for effective /efficient planning, operation, review mechanism and processimplementation and adherence

    6. We are also covering the packet data network as enabler layer for various services andapplications; integration and service level monitoring/reporting

    7. Case studies/best practices and learnings
