from getting sick!

thank you HRJ for sponsoring a stove, heater, gas bottle & food—not to mention the

encouragement that there are people out there “who care”!

Community Support!

Now running for almost 3 years, women are learning a skill & starting small businesses in their homes. Um Mahmoud, a double refugee from Palestine to Syria, then Syria to Jordan after her husband was killed, is the story of how 1 woman took sewing classes

& is now sewing for a living supporting a family of 5 children.

Food Security

Food Security helps struggling families to focus on studying & relieve the stress moms have to feed their

children. Donated by Catherine Ashcroft & HRJ.

Helping families raise rabbits enables them to start their own business by selling rabbits, & also puts food on

their table!

Family Gardens! Growing Like Crazy!

Success Story!: Maharat Sewing Center in Dlayl

Support for Orphanages

103 Orphans at Schnellar Orphanage received a bi-monthly donation of meat,

cheese, oil, olives as well as chips & juice!

These children in a village learning to grow food in container gardens are mastering a skill & helping to put nourishing food on the table! They are having fun & proud of their work!

Teach a child to grow a garden & he can feed himself for life!
