Protecting Your Kids Coverage Every eligible student attending public school in Prince Edward Island is automatically insured by The PEI School Accident Insurance Program’s student accident coverage. This coverage is provided without a deductible and at no cost to the students, parents/guardians, or schools. Coverage is provided for students and volunteer coaches during school hours, school activities, and community-based learning activities, and also during travel to and from school and community-based learning activities. Who is Eligible? All full-time elementary, intermediate, and senior high public school students in the province of Prince Edward Island who are covered under a Canadian federal and/or provincial health and hospitalization insurance plan are covered under the PEI School Accident Insurance Program. Coverage
Every eligible student attending public school in Prince Edward Island is automatically insured by The PEI School Accident Insurance Program’s student accident coverage. This coverage is provided without a deductible and at no cost to the students, parents/guardians, or schools. Coverage is provided for students and volunteer coaches during school hours, school activities, and community-based learning activities, and also during travel to and from school and community-based learning activities.
Who is Eligible?

When injury shall not result in the loss of life of an Insured Person within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days after the date of the accident but shall result in any of the following losses or paralysis within said three hundred and sixty-five (365) days, the Insurer will pay for:

Quadriplegia (complete paralysis of both upper and lower limbs)
