INTRODUCTION The future Hua Nui (HN) will be a Vibrant Living & Learning Center. Hua Nui means “fruitful.” HN is the brainchild of Dr. David Klein of Haiku, Maui, Hawaii, USA. HN will stand as a premier institution of Vibrant Living and a beacon for wholistic health seekers worldwide. HN will include an organic farm, orchards, fruit tree nursery, conference room and yoga studio, and house offices for their online Vibrant Health & Wealth Academy and Colitis & Crohn's Health Recovery Center, and serve as a destination for permaculturalists, clients, students and all true health seekers. HN will employ sustainable, organic, veganic, regenerative, fruit-centric (“fruiticulture”) permaculture design and maintenance methods and provide Vibrant Health Education. David will act as property caretaker, business manager and farm and health education director, bringing his 34-plus years of Vibrant Living expertise and indefatigable passion for helping the world to become a healthier place. He is seeking a benevolent property owner and/or benefactors whose primary ROI objectives are personal and planetary Vibrant Health. MISSIONAfter a longstanding illness, David’s life was saved and uplifted by employing Hygienic principles of self-healing and by adopting the Natural Hygiene Way of Life (renamed Vibrant Living). His subsequent mission has been to introduce the world to the principles of Vibrant Living and to educate and guide ailing people to Vibrant Health at every opportunity. The culmination of his decades of experience and outstanding service, HN will carry forward the grand legacy of great Natural Hygiene leaders of the past two centuries—from Reverend Sylvester Graham to Drs. Isaac Jennings, John Tilden, Herbert M. Shelton, V. Virginia Vetrano and T. C. Fry.

PURPOSESHN will deliver Vibrant Living Education at its finest, to guide the sick to vibrant wellness and lead the way in the cause of Vibrant Health, and stand as a model for sustainable, regenerative permaculture living. The academic arm of HN, the Vibrant Health & Wealth Academy, functions to train dynamic Vibrant Health Teacher-Counselors who will pass on Vibrant Living knowledge and counsel health seekers, perpetuating Vibrant Health Education for generations to come. The farm will provide organic fruits, vegetables and fruit tree starters to island customers and feed HN residents. The property will be placed in a living trust to assure its perpetual abidance to the Hua Nui mission.

LOCATIONThe Hawaiian island of Maui is considered by many to be the world’s #1 island destination and the most preferred luxurious residence for many health-minded people. With year-round warm tropical weather averaging 75 oF, a friendly “aloha” social climate, unbounded water sports and other recreational activities, favorable conditions for growing all tropical fruits, and scintillating scenic beauty, Maui is a healthful island of enchantment.

The location for the future HN will be a coastal property in the town of Haiku on the North Shore region of the island. This area offers: 30-minute proximity to Kahului Airport, 20-minute proximity to beaches, elevation suitable for growing tropical fruits, stunning shoreline views and serenity.

DIRECTOR

Dr. David KleinCaretaker / Education Director / Business ManagerDavid is the Founder, Dean and Co-Director of the Vibrant Health & Wealth Academy. He is also the Director of the Colitis & Crohn's Health Recovery Center. A Naturorthopathic Doctor with a Ph.D. in Natural Health & Healing, David received his degrees from the University of Natural Health. David also holds a Nutrition Educator certification from Bauman College as well as a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. Originally from New Jersey, David worked 8 years as a Project Manager in the field of environmental

engineering prior to beginning his career in the natural health field in 1992.

David has been a practitioner of the Vibrant Lifestyle since 1984 when he healed a debilitating eight-year bout of severe ulcerative colitis. Adopting a vegan, fruit-based, alkalizing diet of mostly raw foods, adhering to food combining principles, and applying the natural, drugless self-healing protocol, he rapidly healed, rebuilt his depleted body and went on to establish a high level of vibrant health. He has thrived on a 100% raw food diet since 1993.

Since the late 1990s, David has been a leader in the raw food and Natural Hygiene health movements. He produced over 20 Raw Passion Seminars and Jamborees across the USA and three Rawstock Festivals in northern California. His Vibrance magazine was the world’s most widely read raw food lifestyle periodical from 1996 to 2016. In 2016, David co-founded the Physicians Coalition for Responsible Agriculture on Maui. He is currently the Vice President of the Maui chapter of the Hawaii Tropical Fruit Growers nonprofit organization.

David has guided over 4,500 clients to vibrant wellness via the Vegan Healing Diet Plan he teaches. His Self Healing Colitis & Crohn’s guidebook is a world bestseller in its field, with over 40,000 copies sold. David is renown worldwide as a self-healing and vegan diet counselor master, as well as a stalwart leader in the field of wholistic health.
