Macro Scope
Original intersection designed by OPUS. Macro Scope layouts were designed to maximise traffic efficiency and were based on a different model, different forecast year and different development flows from the Local LOS layouts.
Local Level of Service (LOS)
Intersection layouts resulting from revisiting traffic modelling and design objectives
Intersection performance of Local LOS design is acceptable in 2016 (WL Stage1) and no worse than Macro Scope in 2026

Perfomance of worst queue is similar to left turn Rimu Road into Kapiti Road westbound at pm peak period
In 2026 there is an additional Raumati South that links to the northern end of Stage 3 of the WL. The intersection layout has a similar footprint to Raumati North intersection
