Yes Solid Waste:

The solid waste generated from the projectwill be domestic in nature.

Construction Waste:

Left over cement and mortars, cementconcrete blocks, aggregate, sand and otherinorganic material will be recycled and reusedas granular sub base (GSB) layer ofpavement. Earth rendered surplus from theexcavation will be utilized in the embankmentworks.

Operational Phase:

Solid wastes which are likely to be generatedin project will be domestic in nature.

Domestic wastes:

The total solid waste generated from theproject in the form of garbage (dry & wet) willbe 2166 kg/day. Solid Waste garbagegenerated from residential/permanentpopulation will be 2052 kg/day & 114 kg/dayfrom visitors / floating population (which iscalculated @ 450 gm/person/day forresidential/permanent population & @ 250gm/person/day for visitors / floatingpopulation respectively, as per the norms ofMoEF’s Manual on Norms & Standards forEnvironment Clearance of Large ConstructionProjects).

Liquid Effluent:

During construction phase: sewage will betreated and disposed through septic tankswith soak pits.

During operation phase: Total 345 KLD ofwaste water will be generated which will betreated in the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)having total capacity of 380 KLD up to tertiarylevel.

Dewatered/ dried sludge from STP will beused as manure in horticulture after properdigestion.

Hazardous Wastes:

No hazardous wastes will be produced fromproject activities except some Spent Oil

1. The projects involving clearance under Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 1991 shall submitwith the application a C.R.Z map duly demarcated by one of the authorized agencies, showingthe project activities, w.r.t. All correspondence with the Ministry of Environment & Forests including submission "ofapplication for TOR/Environmental Clearance, subsequent clarifications, as may be requiredfrom time to time, participation in the EAC Meeting on behalf of the project proponent shall bemade by the authorized signatory only. The authorized signatory should also submit adocument in support of his claim of being an authorized signatory for the specific project".
