CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction

Projects we want to implement the “Cooling Fan Fire Safety”. Installation of exhaust fan in

the house - the house is an alternative to the reduction when occur to the fire in the house. This

project is designed to generate a new security system of the home kitchen of a full-featured and

can be installed in accordance with user needs. The system uses sensors to detect temperature and

fire (fire). Advantages of this system can be changed - convert the time to be determined and the

temperature can be set by the user it does not exceed 150 celsius. At present, we can see the fires

are frequent, particularly in the residential and shop houses. we want to create the exhaust fan fire

safety to facilitate the use of this project. This equipment not only to smoke, it also clean the

kitchen air, dirty air.

In addition, can prevent fires and have the security features. That which we can see the fire

may originate from the kitchen is almost 90%.That's because we want to create this project.

1.2 Problem Statements

• Compilation of circuits.

• The compilation of sensors to be put in the circuit.

• In the process of finding the exhaust fan.

1.3 Objective

Producing this final year project, many of the objectives that we must achieve in order to

protect the quality of this project. Therefore, we have devised several objectives that we need

to accomplish. The following were the objectives to be achieved:

• Prevent fires rather than.

• Clean kitchen filled with smoke.

• Can detect the heat if the temperature exceeds the set .

• In case if has fire in the kitchen springkler automatically exit.

1.4 Scope project:

Determine a scope to help us working on the right track. Setting a scope of our project to guide us in the right specification that have been made.

After cooking usually environment in kitchen was dirty and fulfilled with the smoke.

Temperature using on this project can detect if the temperature than the prescribed. For

example : this equipment can seep smoke and dirty air.

Springclare work when the smoke was detect as the fire .

LITERATURE REVIEW

1.1 Introduction

In this chapter, literature known as the scientific research is an observational study

or to seek any information or data that need to implement a project and describes the

functions and specifications of equipment or components used in the construction of

prototype projects to be built this with the aims to identify the specifications of

components used, and can understand the effects of the use. scientific research is also

used to further this project.

2.2 PIC Microcontroller: 16F84A or 16F819

A microcontroller as a single chip computer. The Programmable

Integrated Circuit (PIC) Microcontrollers that we will use have 18 pins and are

made by Microchip.

METHODOLOGY

In this project, the methodology is very important to ensure that the projects will done

by the systematic and can be completed within the stipulated and will be produce the perfect

result. To complete this project, the effective steps must be taken because this project

requires patience and care consumer. This chapter includes all the information about the

project. It starts from finding the suitable topic and processes the automatic juice maker is

produce. There are many steps that involve on making the automatic juice produce. It begins

with sketching and find the suitable circuit until is done.

3.1 INTRODUCTION

Methodology defined as the process of producing a product starting from the creation of

the concept ideas to the manufacturing process, the concept of idea generation is to overcome

the identified problems, the idea of selection based on the concept of features produced in

accordance with the project.

the manufacturing process begins with the selection of appropriate materials for the project

components. apart from that all the ingredients to produce combined to produce the desired

design, it goes through several processes such as cutting, drilling and installation and

implementation process.

in implementing a project, plan ahead to be taken out for delivering high quality, good

condition, functioning properly, neat and orderly. this process is the first step once done

before starting the work related to the project.

Besides the selection of appropriate projects to help creative thinking and innovative as

well as it represents a way of thinking, in terms of electrical and electronic equipment. title

will be able to attract the attention of others. to produce the project taken in the selection of

circuits associated with the project needs to be done. in addition, the components of the

circuit also projects to be identified. The following implementation steps:

A. submission of project proposals for submission to supervisor

B. make observations and research on the combined circuit

C. make a trace on the pcb board etching, soldering

D. test circuit has been completed

E. preparation of pre-demo to the project supervisor

F. make a model based on application requirements required

G. installation in the model circuit

H. project presentation and project exhibition

CHAPTER 5

DISCUSSION

The objective of this project is design a ‘COOLING FAN FIRE SAFETY’ has been success.

Just like mention at objective prevent fires rather than, clean kitchen filled with smoke, can

detect the heat if the temperature exceeds the set, in case if has fire in the kitchen springkler

automatically exit.

While do the project we also get a problem for finished. It is give we some an

experiences and more knowledge. Among the problem that we have to face. To understand

about the circuit just like the way to connect on the circuit to another circuit, circuit operation

and statement of components we get problem.
