IntroductionOn the present situation we have threeprojects in hand to be construct of which about19000 sft apartment building whose roof slab has been casted and brick work is yettostart, another project is about 55000 sft whose only piling work has been done andthe last project which is of about 100000 sft and the structural design of this projec isyet to be finish.

Beside these we have other projects which we have finished and handed over toour clients. But those previous projects compare toconstruction cost the companyhas earna minimum profit and for which the management has decided to minimizethe cost as well as tosave time for construction period.

From this point of viewwe have decided to implement the hollowblocktechnology instead of conventional clay brick in our on going projects

ConclusionFrom the above issues, to save the environmental lossand to minimize the construction cost as well as to

save the construction period of projects we areapproaching to adopt the hollow block instead ofconventional clay bricks to our company and todetermine its consequences.

Therefore I have choose this topic for my project/thesis to have better solution and complete

knowledge of about the hollow block technology.
