who COVET AND WOULD COURT THE FAVOR OF THE EVANGELICALS; those who would throw off the mantle of a PECULIAR PEOPLE; and those who would go the way of the

SECULAR MATERIALISTIC WORLD.

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we

believed.

SideBar— One of the first things that the LORD revealed to the pioneers of out FAITH was that CHRIST had left the

HOLY PLACE in the HEAVENLY SANCTUARY and entered the MOST HOLY PLACE wherein they believed/knew that WE, as GOD’S PEOPLE, MUST have VICTORY OVER SIN on this EARTH BEFORE we can inherit ETERNAL LIFE. They yearned to be a part of the 144,000. We have leaders now

The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place

among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines

which stand as the PILLARS OF OUR FAITH, and engaging in a process of reorganization. 1SM 204

Were this reformation to take place, what would result?• the principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the

remnant church, would be discarded. • Our religion would be changed. • The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the

last fifty years would be accounted as error. • A new organization would be established. • Books of a new order would be written. • A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. {1SM 204.2}

The Prophet Speaks—As the storm approaches, a LARGE CLASS who have PROFESSED FAITH IN THE THIRD ANGEL'S MESSAGE, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, ABANDON THEIR POSITION AND JOIN THE RANKS OF THE OPPOSITION. By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side. In this time of persecution the faith of the Lord's servants will be tried. They have faithfully given the warning, looking to God and to His word alone. God's Spirit, moving upon their hearts, has constrained them to speak. {Mar 186.4}

The Redeemer of the world might have come attended by ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of angels; but instead of this He clothed his divinity with humanity, made Himself of no reputation, took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of sinful flesh. {BEcho, December 15, 1892 par. 3} In the likeness of sinful flesh he condemned sin in the flesh. {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 12}

HOW MANY WAYS CAN THIS BE SAID?

The Prophet Speaks—Not one of us will ever receive the seal of God while our characters have one spot or stain upon them. It is left with us to remedy the defects in our characters, to cleanse the soul temple of every defilement. Among the Adventist doctrines that Dr. Ford opposes are the sanctuary,1844, the investigative Judgment, the remnant church, and the role of the Spirit of Prophecy. In 1979 he publicly announced that he had not believed some of these doctrines for the past 35 years because he could not reconcile the writings of Ellen White with the book of Hebrews.6 In 2002, Ford at last publicly admitted he did not believe in "the creation of the world in six literal days a few thousand years ago.” P. 27 {Ford is a protégé of Heppenstall}

Pipim Con’t—After Dr. Ford was dismissed from denominational employment in 1980,a staggering 180 MINISTERS left the ministry within the next decade. After we, Seventh-day Adventists, wrote the book “Questions on

Doctrines”, we circulated the book among some of our top ministers and one wrote Allan Anderson and asked,

“What are you trying to do, change our doctrines?

Anderson replied, "Yes, we are trying to change the doctrines, but we want to take it to the MINISTRY {the Omega

Apostasy} before we go to the people with it.”

evangelical, Donald Barnhouse, to complain and they asked him what could be done.

Barnhouse replied, “Dr. Martin and I are working to bring Seventh-day Adventist into harmony with

Evangelical Protestantism-by actually changing their doctrines. Then he encouraged the couple with the assurance that he and Mr. Martin are succeeding.”

The response was immediate and enthusiastic….The position of the Adventist seems to some of us in certain cases to be a new position: to them it may be merely the position of the majority group of sane leadership which is determined to put the brakes on any members who seek to hold views divergent from that of the responsible leadership of the denomination. Prophet Con’t—In the typical system, which was a shadow of the sacrifice and priesthood of Christ, the cleansing of the sanctuary was the last service performed by the high priest in the yearly round of ministration. It was the closing work of the atonement --a removal or putting away of sin from Israel. It prefigured the closing work in the ministration of our High Priest in heaven, in the removal or blotting out of the sins of His people, which are registered in the heavenly records. This service involves a work of investigation, a work of judgment; and it immediately precedes the coming of Christ in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory; for when He comes, every case has been decided. Says Jesus: "My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Revelation 22:12. It is this work of judgment, immediately preceding the second advent, that is announced in the first angel's message of Revelation 14:7: "Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come." {GC 352.2}

The 4th Generation grew up under this doctrine—they cut their teeth on this false doctrine!! So, that’s ALL THEY KNOW.

1931-Accreditation-1935, leaders said, ”We will see the day when we’ll rue what we have done.” By 1952, our doctrine changed. Heppenstall said, “We can’t overcome sin, not even by the Power of the Indwelling Christ.

In the fourth generation, there is much machinery; the number of administrators increases while the number of workers at the grass-roots becomes proportionately less. Great church councils are held to define doctrine.

More schools, universities, and seminaries are established. These go to the world for accreditation

and tend to become secularized. There is a reexamination of positions and modernizing of

methods. Attention is given to contemporary society culture, with an interest in the arts, music,

architecture, literature. The movement seeks to become ‘relevant’ to contemporary society by

becoming involved with popular causes. Services become formal. The group enjoys complete

acceptance by the world. The sect has become a church!

searching of the word. The Bible should not be brought into our schools to be sandwiched between infidelity.

God's word must be made the groundwork and subject matter of education.

WHAT WAS THE HISTORICAL PUPOSE OF VATICAN COUNCIL II

The restoration of unity among all Christians is one of the principal concerns of the Second Vatican Council. Christ the Lord founded on CHURCH and one CHURCH ONLY. However,

many Christian communions present themselves to men as the true inheritors of Jesus Christ; al indeed profess to followers of

the Lord but differ in mind and go their different ways, as if Christ Himself were divided.

1. Such division openly contradicts the will of Christ, scandalizes the world, and damages the holy cause of preaching the Gospel.
