Simple, baggy clothes to focus on the

character and not what they are

wearing, dull monotone colours which give

the impression and illusion of

boring, simple and bland focus on the

actor.

My actor will be wearing black

trousers also to pull focus away from

her clothing and keep it

simple, plain, and boring. This will

show she has no interest in the

clothes she is wearing, more on the

actions she is taking as her life has

become worthless.

My character will be carrying a

cardboard box showing that she

is packing up all of her life and

her boyfriend is now gone

I will be using an old television which is

already in one of my locations. This will

give an authentic creepy look, and also

show nostalgia.

Rotting food will be used to show the

decay of the girl, and how her life is not

worth living now her boyfriend is gone…

However did she kill him herself?

I will be using a blue

and red police light to

reflect into the house

so that is looks like the

police are on their way.

This will give the

audience the signifier

they need to know

what is going on in the

scene.

I am thinking about using a flare when the actor falls

into the water so that it is like she is looking for help

but has lost her way, and doesn’t know what to do or

where to go.

One of my locations may be an indoor swimming pool

so I may have to think about taking down some of the

props that are already up, eg flags
