The story began in 1986 with the foundation of an engineering firm: PROLEIT, Gesellschaft für technologieorientierte Prozeßleit- und Steuerungssoftware (Corporation for Technology Oriented Process Control and Control Software). The name clearly states what has consistently been the focus of our attention right from the beginning, and still is today: Our customer’s production process – his technology and thus his success!

Without compromise, we are striving for specialisation in our customers’ tech- nologies by focusing on a restricted number of key sectors and by establishing centres of competence. These consist of both qualified technicians (e-technology, information technology) and experienced technologists (process technicians, brewery and dairy technologists, chemical engineers). Our first principle has always been: We want to understand our customers (and their needs) better than any other process control company in the market!

The consistent orientation towards our customers’ technology not only provided the basis for our specific solutions, but also determined the development path of our Plant iT/brewmaxx control system family – products designed by technologists for technologists. A major unique selling proposition!
