Green DreamAction Now GPN Introduction

Green Power Now is a national project of AIESEC in Mainland

of China, aiming at cultivating the mindset and behavior of Chinese

teenagers towards a sustainable future by empowering them with the

skills, knowledge, mentorship and financial resources to succeed in

running green projects.

It was founded in 2008,aimed at providing global view for youth and

raising their awareness about energy issues in China through AIESEC

international exchange platform,by cooperating with

schools,corporates,NGOs and bringing in international volunteers to

offer courses related to green power and help students become future

leaders in Green field with strong social responsibility.The program

aims to educate the future generation about the environment and

empower them to become environmental and social leaders of their

community.

With the development of world economy,all

countries emphasize on the industry and the

service industry while igore the development

of the agriculture.The biger cities are,the

less the cultivated land is.Besides,the food

security issue frightend people’s healthy and

the genetically modified food harmed

people’s fitness quietly.So it’s time for Green

Power Now!

GPN Summer Camp decide to

replace the traditional activities

like teaching in school by leading

interns and students to live in the

real farm to experience the green

ecological agriculture.We would

operate with the ecological farm

and organize some activities to

make you learn more ecological

knowledge and develop your

leadership.You also could learn

how to be an enterpreneur

In the first week,you will receive our prossesional training about how to live in Beijing,China.And we will tell you what you should pay attention to .

Farm Life

EPs are supposed to get together to review our activities and make some material to memorize the past 3 week.For example,they could make an electronic-magazine.

ReviewEPs are supposed to organize two event to let more people take part in and strength people’s awareness of proctecting environment.We could provide all the equipments we have access to.

Events

AccommodationWe will recruite some high school students or undergraduates to help you with your daily work.The are good at English and are willing to help others.I’m sure you will enhoy your time with them.

BuddyWe will provide one week

free accommodation in

farm.And you will be provided

with free homestay in local

family(if possible).They will

support you in your journey

here,and they can help you

get more involved in Chinese

culture.If there is no

homestay,we will renting for

you(rent should be paid).
