Escravos Gas Plant is located in the area of the Escravos River, next to the Chevron Nigeria Oil Terminal on the Bight of Benin. The location is approximately 100 miles southeast of Lagos and 37 miles west of Warri.

Chevron Nigeria had planned a Gas Gathering & Compression Platform (Meren I GGCP) and a Non Associated Gas (NAG) Wellhead Platform in the offshore Sonam field, for its ongoing flare reduction efforts. INTECH was called in to provide a completely integrated & operable Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) solution.
