3.4 Life of the Project

We plan to work with any community using the Behavior based change management

principle of K.A.I.P.A:

•Community worker and Early Adopters become Change Agents.

•Establish links between Community NGOs and Banks/MFIs for replication.

•Supplant the project in slums of Bangalore, using First dwellers as Change Agents.

•Funds to be sought for introducing the first few units in most slums.

•Subsequent projects will be of smaller monetary investment :

oWe plan to put up 1-4 units per month per slum with an investment of aboutINR 2 lakh per month.

o We target this for 12 slums over the coming year, at an estimated cost of about

INR 25 lakh for the year.
