SolutionThe new Sonic headquarters building is part of the revitalization of Oklahoma City’s first commercial warehouse district, known as Bricktown. The contemporary styled aesthetic complements the historic context of the Bricktown area while providing a functional space for office and retail. To follow the clean, industrial design of the building, the architect chose Lumicor’s Silver Mesh décor and enhanced it with dramatic lighting for a striking focal point.

FIRE RATING • Lumiform has a Class A fire rating up to 3/8” gauge. Lumiclear has a Class C fire rating.

IMPACT RESISTANCE • Lumiform is 40 times stronger than glass.

Lumiclear is 10 times stronger than glass.

RECYCLED CONTENT • •

Lumiclear contains a minimum of 50% recycled content. Lumiform contains a minimum of 40% recycled content

RENEWABLE SURFACE •

Both Lumiclear and Lumiform have a renewable surface, but Lumiclear is easier to refinish and offers better results.

RIGIDITY •Lumiclear is 30% more rigid than Lumiform which allows the use of thinner gauges.

UV RESISTANCE •Lumiclear is naturally resistant to UV rays. Lumiform will yellow over time if exposed to UV light.

WEIGHT • • Both Lumiclear and Lumiform are half the weight of glass.

Lumicor offers two resin options. Choose either Lumiclear or Lumiform resin depending on your functional and aesthetic requirements.

The beauty and performance of Lumiclear with Lumiguard is ideal for horizontal applications. Lumiclear with Lumiguard meets the solid surface industry standards (ANSI Z124) for chemical, stain, impact and abrasion resistance.

Lumiguard’s anti-microbial protection is ideal for healthcare and hospitality environments. Because Lumiguard is a solid 1/8” layer of resin, the protection will not wear off. The Lumiguard surface is also renewable to a matte, gloss or sanded fi nish so your panels look great for years to come.

LUMIGUARD™

Lumiguard is a layer of high-performance Lucite® resin with Microban® that can be fused to any Lumiclear panel to enhance chemical and anti-microbial resistance. Lumiguard is recommended for all horizontal surface applications because it can withstand regular cleaning and has a fully renewable surface. Available for use on Lumiclear only.

CHEMSHIELD™

ChemShield is a film that can be applied to one or both sides of Lumicor panels to increase chemical and stain resistance. ChemShield is perfect for applications where gauges thinner than 3/8” are required. Available for use on Lumiclear only.

EX™

EX adds a layer of protection to Lumicor panels and embedded decors to reduce yellowing and fading caused by UV rays. EX is recommended when a Lumicor panel will have direct UV exposure, such as near a window or in a light fixture.

ILLUME™

Illume is a translucent light diffuser that can be applied to the back of Lumicor panels to reduce hot spots and create a softer glow. Illume is well-suited for back-lit applications.

OPAQUE™

Opaque is a backing that creates a fully opaque panel and comes in two neutral tones: White and Cameo. Add Opaque to sheets when no light transmittance is desired, or to conceal substrates.

MARKER BOARD™

Marker Board is a layer that can be added to any Lumicor panel allowing for dry erase markers to be used on the surface. Marker Board can be added to one or two sides of your Lumicor panel.
