INTRODUCTION

Agriculture is a dominant sector of our economy and credit plays an important role in increasing agriculture production. Availability and access to adequate, timely and low cost credit from institutional sources is of great importance especially to small and marginal farmers. Along with other inputs, credit is essential for establishing sustainable and profitable farming systems. The major concern of the Government is Therefore, to bring all the farmer households within the banking fold and promote complete financial inclusion.

FINDING

From this project it is found that SBI Agriculture banking must give the good result towards SBI for larger amount of transaction, there is a great opportunity to compete with other private sector bank & to retain its customer by fulfilling the requirement of customer in SBI.

It has been observed that approximately 93% correspondents of people know about agriculture banking & 7% do not know about it.

SUGGESTION

SBI has to reduce the interest rate.SBI has to entertain indirect sectors of agriculture so that it can have more number of borrowers for the bank.SBI must take feedback of customers regarding features & services.SBI should more focus on retaining existing customers.

CONCLUSION

From the analysis part it can be conclude that customers have a good respond towards the SBI agriculture products in Baripada. SBI is in 1st position having large number of customers & providing good services to them.

SBI should focus on:-•Launch innovative product•Customized agriculture products.•Better customer services•Fastest customers problem solving techniques
