Location: Palm Beach County
Specification: Apply a custom colored brick patterned surface application onto newly finished concrete sidewalks, medians and landscape bands.
Project requirements:
! Ability to be installed on existing concrete after 28 days cure ! Fast set time for coating to allow pedestrian traffic as soon as possible ! ADA compliant ! Integral colored coating / Exact (pantone) color matching as per project requirements ! Provide slip resistance ! Ability to be installed in very difficult retail traffic environment ! Color fastness and the ability to withstand the harsh UV effects of the south Florida climate.

Project goals:
Provide a decorative surfacing product that has the ability to be tailored to the different surface types found throughout the Public right of way and create an aesthetic decorative flow throughout the entire project to include many different surfaces. Specifically in this project the surfaces included both asphalt and concrete as follows – (Concrete-‐ sidewalks, medians/ traffic separators, landscaping bands) (Asphalt-‐ crosswalks).
Results:
Thru the use of our all encompassing FDOT approved product line we were able to provide a symmetry throughout the entire project by using CITYBRICK for the all the concrete pedestrian surfaces and STREETBRICK-‐ XL for all the asphalt vehicular crosswalks. Since both products are coated with a similar epoxy modified coating we were able to exactly match the same colors throughout the entire streetscape project.
CITYBRICK provides a seamless decorative surface due to its ability to be applied over most types of meter boxes & hand holes that are very common in public sidewalks.
