Automatic defect detecting in rail defectograms
Analysis of files from mobile and removable NDT vehicles. The complex can be adopted for any NDT hardware and for different NDT standards.
Ultrasonic channel data filtration
An algorithm for evaluating a signal dynamic threshold is developed for multi-bit defectoscopes. This threshold depends on a noise level and is individually calculated for every ultrasonic channel.
A multistage data filtration based on classical digital processing algorithms adopted for
defectograms is developed. This approach provides suppressing noise and leaving useful signals.
Calculation of flaw danger degree
4 categories of flaw danger degree are appointed in the UIC-725 standard: 0, I, II, III. The complex provides automatic flaw danger degree calculation.

Automatic analysis of additional characteristics

Automatic analysis result comparison of the same place from several passages
This feature allows to compare defect
markers automatically detected on two or
more passages of the same place in the
rail. To compare the markers, it is
necessary to decode all the opened
passages and apply this feature. After that,
the panel with the coinsident markers will
appear.
GIS - application
Data visualization on the map: the current position and the route of a NDT vehicle, detected railway defects, joints, GPS-tracks, the results of the control stop, etc.
Reporting system and automatic reports generation
The reporting system provides collecting all the railway information including the results of field inspections and generating all kinds of reports
