• Developed in the Baltic Metropolises Innovation Strategy BaltMet Inno project 1/2005 – 12/2007
• WP 1: Complementary Innovation Strategies in the Baltic Metropolitan Areas
• WP 2: Community Building and Marketing Strategies
• WP 3: Cluster Development
• WP 4: Innovation Competences and Entrepreneurial Skills
• WP 5: Innovation Policy Framework in the Baltic Sea Region
• Preparation process with involvement of:
• WP specific expert groups (workshops, seminars)
• Mayors’ meeting 30 October 2006: initial approval of 6 policy areas incl. 14 policy proposals
Prioritised policy areas from Local Advisory Boards (LABs) and Cities / BaltMet City Officials
Selection of 6 most supported policy proposals
Combined to 4 broader areas / themes for further elaboration
