General Notes

Design-Build Electrical Scope of Work: The final scope of electrical work shall be ultimately determined by the design-build electrical

contractor and coordinated with the Owner, Architect, and Engineer as required. At a minimum, the contractor shall be responsible for

the removal, extension and/or new installation of electrical panels and meter bank as indicated, in compliance with applicable codes.

Electrical noting within the documents are not meant to identify the complete scope of electrical installations - they are intended to

note specific needs that have been discussed with the Owner as part of the Project development.

Description of Work

Replace existing electrical meters, qty (6) with new meter stack with meters/breakers at same

location. Main Service Breaker to be 400A, unit panels feeder breaker to be 100A, 2p (contractor

to verify all sizes in field prior to bids.) Rework service conductors and panel feeders into new

metering equipment. Contractor shall coordinate power outage with CMP and PHA.

Existing overhead service to remain and be reworked into new meter stack. New Meter stack

configuration will be for (3) townhouse units, one flat unit, and health clinic/mechanical room,

mechanical room (house), for a total of five (5) meters with 100A breakers, rework panel feeders

into new meter stack breakers.

Background Information: Original building configuration was 6 townhouse units. Current

configuration is 3 townhouse units, and boys and girls club where 3 townhouses used to be

arrangement to the panels replaced and addding qty(1) 50A 2p and qty (1) 30A 2p for future

rnaqge ansd dryer. Re-use and re-terminate load center feeder and branch circuit conductors.

Extend or modify wiring as required for panel relocations as indicated per unit. Coordinate and

provide circuit and wall-switch disconnect for existing boiler as indicated by location. Reference
