It provides the mandatory classroom hours as well as the framework for processes, tools and techniques essential to mastering advanced concepts of project management. Upon completion of this course, students may register for the Project Management Standards, PMP ® Exam Preparation and CAPM ® Exam Preparation courses. This course is approved for 15 PDUs. XPPM 502-003 9/30-10/16 TTh 6-9 p.m. XPPM 502-MP2 10/11-10/25 S 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM ® ) Exam Preparation $695 This course prepares students for the CAPM ® Certification exam. It is designed for entry-level to senior members of a project team who contribute specialized skills such as scheduling, logistics, cost estimating or other project work. The CAPM ® credential signifies that the individual knows the standards and terminology of the PMBOK ® Guide. This class is also appropriate for individuals who wish to increase their skills and/or to enter the project management field. During the course, students will learn the content necessary to pass the exam and have the opportunity to practice with high-quality practice exam questions. Upon completion of this course, students may apply to take the CAPM ® Certification exam. This course is approved for 24 PDUs. Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam Preparation Boot Camp $1,795This course prepares students for the Project Management Institute’s PMP® certification exam. Both the class and exam are offered for project managers with three or more years of experience who want to increase their skills and apply a standards-based approach to project management. During the course, students will learn the necessary content and successful strategies for passing the PMP® exam. Individual students will also learn to identify their specific exam strengths and weaknesses and have the opportunity to practice with high-quality practice exam questions. Upon completion of this course, project managers who meet PMI® experience requirements may apply to take the PMP® Certification exam. This course is approved for 40 PDUs.

XPPM 503-004 11/10-14 MTWThF 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

*Prerequisites: Successful Project Management and Project Management Standards, or equivalent project management education. Three or more years project management experience required. Highly recommended that students complete and submit their application to sit for the PMP® exam before the class begins. Experienced project managers with prior, formal project management training may request to waive the Successful Project Management class.
