Asha Steward Anjana’s Recommendations Following Nellikuppam nlogue kiosk library site visit

Suggestions1. The kiosk manager should know what the books are about They can help the students choose a book of their level2. Provide Tamil - English and English- English dictionaries.3. Arrange books such that all titles can be seen so students can pick up a book of their choice4. Special time for reading could be provided for the children

What do the children need?1. They need guidance to choose a book.2. Simple reading activities could be performed to help them retain an interest in reading.3. The children in the age group 8-12 years are not very confident about reading on their own. Hence the following activities could be performed:
