Voting for a Project
Students are given options of projects.
Then they do basic research on the topic
“Why is This a Malden Issue?”
After the research is done, students vote as a class for their favorite topic
* As defined by each class
Each class had an idea of what would make their CSL projects run smoothly, and successfully.
Improving nutrition in schools by raising awareness of the benefits of a healthy lunch. They are also trying to alert decision makers about the school wide dislike of what is being offered in lunch everyday.
You call this a healthy and delicious lunch?
Implementing a permanent literacy and mentoring program between kindergarten and 8th grade students. Our goal is to instill a love of reading and build camaraderie between different grade levels.
Gain support and funds from decision makers across the city to complete a public garden in the back of the Beebe School. We are also going to update and move the current Butterfly Garden. The goal of the public garden is to create a sense of community and offer the produce from the garden to the Bread of Life, a local food pantry. Our first phase of this project is to complete our annual 8th grade food drive.
Our school, unlike some others, doesn’t just plan
the project – We Complete It!!
Thank You!
