1. Can we use CommScope Uniprise Manufacturer for the Cat6 and Fiber cabling? Answer. Yes this is allowed.

Clarifications;

1. Schedule for completion of McKinley work

a. A area shall be completed by end of February 2018.

b. B area shall be completed by May 25, 2018

2. Work is permitted during school hours when the students are not in that area.

a. Any work in areas where students are located will have to be second shift or on

holiday periods when students are not in the building.


3. Make a special note that now additional funding will be provided for extensions of the

timetable for installation if that timetable extends. If a building architectural or electrical or

other trade is late that shall not allow the technology or security contractor to ask for or

receive additional funding.

4. At the pre-bid meeting a question was asked about Asbestos in the Building. Kevin

Cuthbertson. noted that all remediation is in process and it is being completed by another

contractor previous to any tech work in the building.

THE KEYSCAN WAS INSTALLED FOR A FEW BUILDINGS AS PART OF A PREVIOUS PROJECT.

FIELD VERIFY LOCATION WITH OWNER. THIS IS AN EXISTING SECURITY PANEL. REPLACE THIS PANEL WITH A KEYSCAN PANEL AND CONNECT ALL EXISTING DEVICES TO NEW PANEL. PUSHING THE BUTTON SHALL LOCK THE THE DOOR THAT LEAD FROM THE OFFICE TO LOBBY AREA. INSTALL A NEW SECURITY PANEL AS REQUIRED TO SUPPORT ALL DOORS AND DEVICES SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS.

SECURITY CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL ANY CONDUITS & SECURITY CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL ANY CONDUITS & PASS-THRU'S REQUIRED FOR ROUTING CABLES AROUND THE BUILDING IN ADDITION TO THOSE SHOWN. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLETE A WALK-THRU PRIOR TO CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLETE A WALK-THRU PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION & SHALL VERIFY ALL RACEWAYS & PATHWAYS. 3. ALL CABLES SHALL BE SUPPORTED ABOVE THE DROP ALL CABLES SHALL BE SUPPORTED ABOVE THE DROP CEILING BY J-HOOKS. HOOKS SHALL BE LOCATED NO LESS THAN EVERY 5 FEET. 4. REPLACE EXISTING ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM WITH A REPLACE EXISTING ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM WITH A KEYSCAN SYSTEM. EXPAND THE OWNERS SYSTEM. THE KEYSCAN WAS INSTALLED FOR A FEW BUILDINGS AS PART OF A PREVIOUS PROJECT.

FIELD VERIFY LOCATION WITH OWNER. THIS IS AN EXISTING SECURITY PANEL. REPLACE THIS PANEL WITH A KEYSCAN PANEL AND CONNECT ALL EXISTING DEVICES TO NEW PANEL. PUSHING THE BUTTON SHALL LOCK THE THE DOOR THAT LEAD FROM THE OFFICE TO LOBBY AREA. INSTALL A NEW SECURITY PANEL AS REQUIRED TO SUPPORT ALL DOORS AND DEVICES SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS.
