certainincomeclassificationsinourcommunitiesandthusfarlettingtheirpartyget

stereotypedasapartyfortherichorapartyforthepoorormiddleclass.Furthermore

thishasarippleeffectandleadstosomebeliefthatmostAfricanAmericanssupportthe

DemocratpartyAndmostWhiteAmericanssupporttheRepublicanpartymyresearch

willshowthatthisisnottruebutincomedoeshaveaninfluenceIhypothesizethat

mosthouseholdsover50,000willsupporttheRepublicanparty.

Americanshouseholdsunder50,000supportthedemocraticpartyasIstatedearlieritmay

havealottodowiththefactthatthesepoliticalpartiesappealtoacertainclassandincome

structure.Althoughmostwhiteshouseholdsmakesupporttherepublicanpartyasawholeit

isstillmanythatsupportthedemocraticpartythatmakealittleover50,000ayear.this

showsthatalthoughhouseholdincomemaybeafactortherearestillmanydetermining

factorsthathouseholdsusewhendeterminingwhichpartytosupport.

MyfindingsalsoshowthatAfricanAmericansingeneralstronglysupportthe

Democraticpartyandformalmosta65%disparityintheresupportfortherepublicanparty

withevenweighinginthefamiliesincomelevelsthereforeitssafetosaythatmostAfrican

Americanfamiliessupportthedemocraticpartywiththeexceptionofafewhouseholds.
