As a keen gardener, I found there wasn’t a lot of guidance out there directedat a younger market. I found the books and magazines that were on offerrelating to gardening were very uninspirational and hard to follow.With an ever increasing emphasis on the environment and the

measures individuals should be taking to prevent the devastating effectsof climate change I thought it was important that the

younger generation (myself included) could benefit from knowingyounger generation (myself included) could benefit from knowingthe advantages of self-sufficiency and recycling amongst others.With this in mind I went ahead and put together a gardeningmagazine that would rouse my contemporaries and encouragethem to switch off their computers and get into the garden.

For this project I utilised skills in informative writing, photography and shoot organisation, editing my writing and layout

on programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign, on programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign, making crafts, cooking and of course, gardening.
