SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS
Missouri defeated California to win the 2011 Championship.
television exposure - One (1) on-court decal located inside the key on each end of the floor (total of 2). - A minimum of four (4) minuted per game of unobstructed in-game television exposure on the courtside digital signage (total of 12 minutes on ESPN2, and 4 minutes on ESPNU). - The Reese’s logo will appear on the backboard support padding under each basket.
On-Site Exposure - In-arena exposure on the courtside signage system. - One (1) public address announcement in each game. - One (1) ‘‘moment of exclusivity” per game on the LED rings on the center hung scoreboard and arena fascia. - One (1) on-court promotion per night during a halftime or timeout (total of 2). - One (1) on-site display in the concourse or near the main entrance to the arena. The display can be used for sampling, coupon distribution, premium item giveaways, etc.
Tickets and Hospitality - Eight (8) premium location tickets for each night (16 total). - Eight (8) Invitations to the VIP pre-game hospitality reception (16 total). - Corporate logo displayed on the HD Televisions in the VIP hospitality reception (Championship Rounds only).

- All four games of the Championship Rounds at Kansas City’s Sprint Center were nationally televised by ESPN. Three of the games aired on ESPN2 while the fourth was televised on ESPNU. Four of the Re-gional Round games were also nationally televised with one game on ESPN2 and three on ESPNU. Two of the remaining four Regional Round games were televised in the state of Missouri while three Subre-gional games were aired in Georgia.
- ESPN’s top broadcast team - Dick Vitale, Bob Knight and Dan Shulman - were assigned to work the Championship Round games in Kansas City.
- The event has featured five of the past seven national champions – Syracuse (2003), Florida (2006, 2007), Kansas (2008), and Duke (2010). In all, 31 teams that have participated in the Progressive CBE Classic have gone on to compete in the NCAA Tournament.
- The Progressive CBE Classic has boasted the highest neutral site attendance among all early-season college basketball tournaments in three of the last five years. Nearly 80,000 fans attended the 2011 Classic, with the Championship Rounds at Sprint Center averaging over 11,000 fans both nights.
- In the 11 years of its existence, the event has attracted over 900,000 college basketball fans. - The Championship Rounds of the Progressive CBE Classic have been held in Kansas City since the event’s inception. The last five years the Classic has been played at Sprint Center, the state-of-the-art arena that serves as the cornerstone of a redeveloped downtown Kansas City.
- In addition to Sprint Center, the Progressive CBE Classic has been held at some of the finest home courts in the country, including Alabama, California, Creighton, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Gonzaga, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Marquette, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan State, Missouri, Missouri State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Richmond, South Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, Washington, West Virginia, and Wichita State.

Home to the College Basketball Experience, Sprint Center has hosted the 2008, 2010 and 2011 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship, first- and second- rounds of the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship and most recently an NBA preseason game between the Miami HEAT and OKC Thunder. In 2012, Sprint Center will host the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship.

As the nation’s most-exciting early-season college basketball event, the Progressive CBE Classic annually receives an enormous amount of press coverage in the local, regional, and national media. The entire footprint of the event includes the four Regional Round sites, the Championship Rounds in Kansas City, the two Subregional Round sites, and the local news areas in which the 12 participating institutions are located.
