HAIL SATAN?DOCUMENTARY • 1H 35M • RATED R (CONTAINS NUDITY)Directed by Penny Lane When media-savvy members of the Satanic Temple organize a series of public actions designed to advocate for religious freedom and challenge corrupt authority, they prove that with little more than a clever idea, a mischievous sense of humor, and a few rebellious friends, you can speak truth to power in some truly profound ways. As charming and funny as it is thought-provoking, Hail Satan? offers a timely look at a group of often misunderstood outsiders whose unwavering commitment to social and political justice has empowered thousands of people around the world.

THE SERENGETI RULESDOCUMENTARY • 1H 24MDirected by Nicolas Brown | Cast: Greg Kriek, Ashlyn Jade Lopez, Johnathan Newport Beginning in the 1960s, a small band of young scientists headed out into the wilderness, driven by an insatiable curiosity about how nature works. Immersed in some of the most remote and spectacular places on Earth—from the majestic Serengeti to the Amazon jungle; from the Arctic Ocean to Pacific tide pools—they discovered a single set of rules that govern all life. Now in the twilight of their eminent careers, these five unsung heroes of modern ecology share the stories of their adventures, reveal how their pioneering work flipped our view of nature on its head, and give us a chance to reimagine the world as it could and should be.

THE RAFT DOCUMENTARY • 1H 37MDirected by Marcus Lindeen | Cast: Daniel Giménez Cacho, Maria Björnstam, Mary Gidley, Rachida Lièvre The story of the strangest social experiment of all time–told by those who took part in it. In 1973, five men and six women sailed across the Atlantic on a raft in a social experiment and scientific study of violence, aggression, sex, and group behavior, conducted by a radical Mexican anthropologist. Over 40 years later, Swedish artist and filmmaker Marcus Lindeen brings the crew together again for the first time since the experiment to look back at the three intense months they spent together, isolated and without privacy, on ‘The Sex Raft’, as the press called it.

RED JOAN BIOGRAPHY | DRAMA | THRILLER • 1H 50M • RATED R Directed by Trevor Nunn | Cast: Sophie Cookson, Tom Hughes, Judi Dench, Tereza Srbova Joan Stanley is a widow living out a quiet retirement in the suburbs when, shockingly, the British Secret Service places her under arrest. The charge: providing classified scientific information–including details on the building of the atomic bomb–to the Soviet government for decades. As the interrogation gets underway, Joan relives the dramatic events that shaped her life and her beliefs.

WALKING ON WATER DOCUMENTARY • 1H 40MDirected by Andrey M Paounov Ten years after the passing of his wife and partner, Jeanne-Claude, Christo sets out to realize The Floating Piers, a project they conceived together many years before. Documented with uncensored access to Christo and his team, Walking on Water is a cinema verite look into the process and personal relationships of the world’s biggest installation artist.

MUSIC MAGIC 8 BALL SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATIONSummertime is coming and the trees are sweetly blooming–it must be time for Magic 8 Ball to make their annual summer appearance at Fort Andross.
