First of all I would like to thank Almighty God, my Programme In charge, all Academic counsellors for achieving my Gold Medal in DCCN Course. Intially when I enrolled with course I was very nervous and confused. Then when I attended the first Induction metting I got all the right information about the teaching –learning process of this course, Assignments and Exam related matters . As I am Staff Nurse working in Artemis Hospital my Study Centre became Artemis Hospital which gave me the enriched exposure of Clinical area. In our Study center there was regular Counseling sessions .I used to arrange my duties prior and tried to attend all the classes. All the Academic counsellors, Programme In charge were very supportive, and expert in their field. They used to take very informative sessions, and always motivate us. Hands on training given during our practical hours which further improved my confidence level in handling critical cases.

I am working as research officer with the National Institute of

Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare since

1998, in the area of Public Health. IGNOU has given me an

opportunity to live the life of student once again along with my

professional duties. There were many hurdles which I came across

during this period but the educational ethos and temperament of

the Campus, Faculty and staff, kept me going. I must admit the

contribution of the department of SOEDS in my success. IGNOU is

ray of hope for the students like me.

I, Miss Aastha Mongia have the privilege to

express my heart felt gratitude to the Indira

Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)

because of its ODL system and its support system. I am also deeply

grateful that after being associated with this esteemed University I

found my road to success. I not only passed the MCOM programme

but topped in examination as a result I got a job in Public Sector

Bank and got promoted as a Bank Manager.

I won the Gold medal for the Masters in Library Science from Indira Gandhi National Open

University. This gave me a sense of satisfaction as I enrolled after 18 years in service and after a gap of 18 years of formal education. IGNOU helped me in achieving Master's Degree while I was working and coping with family responsibilities. I am working with the British Council.

I Divya Yadav, very happy to inform you that I have done my Master from IGNOU. I got 59% in MA (Political Science). IGNOU is very rich in giving

qualitative education through distance mode. There is no University other than IGNOU which give easy way to increase our professional growth. In one year, we can give our term end exam two times (December and June). It becomes very easy for an employee to manage his /her time during any course. Through assignment we can go through the study material deeply. Study material is very good. It is written in easy language one can easily understand the books of IGNOU.Now, I am taking admission in IGNOU B.Ed Course. I am very happy to do this course. I joined Kendriya Vidyalaya as permanent teacher. I am thankful to the University for giving this opportunity to me.

I did my BLIS and MLIS prog from IGNOU and got Gold Medal in Master of Library and Information Science. At present, I am working as a Librarian in Kendriya Vidyalaya.From childhood onwards I use to be very fond of books, literally a lot of books. And this particular interest motivated me for converting my hobby into my profession. There was a popular saying that “make your hobby as your profession so that you don't have to work in your entire life”. And this particular saying suits me in every context. In this regard, IGNOU played a major role and with the guidance of my Professor C.P. Vashisth in transforming myself into a complete and successful human being.

I, Akriti Chandra, a Ph.D. fellow of Centre of Indian Languages, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Due to some reasons, I couldn't appear in my intermediate examinations. That's why I did BPP (Bachelor's Preparatory Programme) from IGNOU. It helped me out to sort out the glitch in the continuation of my studies. It was the turning point of my study life. The IGNOU provides highly systematic and complete syllabus for every subject. Therefore, it helped me out in enhancing my subject knowledge. The counselling sessions of IGNOU are tremendously beneficial for clearing my excessive doubts. I completed my B.A. and M.A. from IGNOU in 2008 and 2011 respectively. The study material of IGNOU helped me out in clearing the M.Phil. entrance exam of JNU. I feel proud being an IGNOU product. Currently, I am enrolled once again in M.A. for enriching my knowledge in 'Rural Development', which is also an additional field of my research. IGNOU helped me a lot to bring me where am I now. I am very thankful to IGNOU and wish all the best to every student of IGNOU for their bright future.

I took admission in MA (Education) Programme of IGNOU. The programme was required for my professional development at that time as I was

working as a Lecturer in SCERT, Haryana. The programme helped me a lot in terms of increasing my professional capabilities alongside it helped me in my selection in NITI Aayog (erstwhile Planning Commission). I am proud to be the student of IGNOU and appreciate its institutional efforts for mass spreading of the Higher Education.

I, Neha Chouhan enrolled for programme MA

(History) Programme in IGNOU under Regional

Centre Delhi ‐3. IGNOU's study material was very

helpful. I learnt a lot which helped in getting a teaching Job in

Kendriya Vidyalaya. Now again, I am getting enrolled for B.Ed for

January session, 2017. I am highly thankful to IGNOU. I got a lot of

support service from Regional Centre Delhi‐3

I, took admission in IGNOU, Priyanka Chaurasia,

PGDAC course right after my post graduation

from CCSU Meerut. I learnt more practical

knowledge in this course with help of guidance of academic

counsellors. The study material is very clear and easy to

understand for students doing self studies. Guidance from

counselling class is highly appreciable since it helped me achieve

77.76% marks.

I am Mihir Kumar, I did CIC, BCA and MCA From

IGNOU in 2012. MCA from IGNOU is very

beneficial for any student who is willing to learn

and improve himself. IGNOU has good study material and if we

study it well (in detail) then we can easily get good marks.

Currently I am working in Artificial Machines Pvt. Ltd. Pune, as

Android Developer.

The PGDIS course of IGNOU really helped me. To understand the big picture of various domains linked to InfoSec like Network Sec, Cyber Security, Cyber Crimes, laws & policies, BCP, DR, Digital Forensic and many more.

I not only have successfully completed this course but also have acquired the knowledge required to a Manager in InfoSec field.

Currently I am working as Information Security division of UIDAI (AADHAR).

I am very passionate about studies and learning

with perfection. Even after very less support

from my family for my post‐graduation I applied

for MCA from IGNOU. I found IGNOU syllabus is very appropriate

for Masters in Computers. Presently I am working in an

organization namely Action for Self Reliance as a Computer

Centre Incharge

I studied law and thought to go for LLB, but

meanwhile the Open University‐IGNOU which

had provided the best ever facility to the campus of Tihar, I decided

to do MSW and completed all the courses and practicum in time.

I worked on 'Social Justice' in my practicum which was selected by

me. I am currently running an NGO namely 'Jai Hind Sewa

Kendra', working for health issues of society.

I belong to UP with 5‐member family. I am from

SC Category. My father is a driver. Our financial

condition was very disturbed therefore I could

not go to regular college. I decided to join IGNOU and hve done

BCA and MCA, with good grades. Now I am working as an Office

Executive and also helping my family.

I belong to a middle class family (ST category)

from a small town in Assam (Dhemaji), which is a

flood‐prone area. I am the only son with two elder

sisters. I come to Delhi for graduation, but I could not get admission

because of less percentage in senior secondary school (56%). I

chose IGNOU in BSW programme and simultaneously joined, as an

internee with stipend in a reputed NGO. I got 61% in second year

that qualified me for MSW entrance exam in Tata institute of

Social Science (TISS). I cleared the written exam and also did well in

Group Discussion and Viva. I am hopeful to get admission in MSW

of TISS.

I am from Allahabad and did BA Psychology. Due

to less marks in BA Psychology., I could not get

admission in MA Psychology in regular college. I

was keen to do MA in Psychology, therefore registered with

IGNOU. I did MA in Clinical Psychology and secured 1st class.

Presently, I am working as Psychologist with a reputed NGO.

I took admission in IGNOU, PGDAC course right

after my graduation. The study material is very

clear, and easy to understand, a boon for students

doing self‐studies. Guidance from the counselling classes is highly

commendable since it helped me achieve 80.38% marks.

Currently I'm working in National Science Centre, Delhi as an

'Education trainer'

I, Eshu Dhingra, have 12 yrs of experience in

Interior, architecture and urban planning.

Professionally I am interior designer but got a

chance to work as a Urban Planner at Sahara Real Estate Group,

which has given me platform to enhance my educational

qualification as a urban planner. I am completely satisfied with a

urban planning PG diploma

My name is Laxmi. I took admission in IGNOU ,

PGDAC progamme right after my post

graduation. With the academic support provided

by Study Centre, I was able to achieve 76%. Currently I am

preparing for NET and also a PhD aspirant.
