“BattleBot” using our VEX IQ robot platform, our competition level robot.
Tuesday: Test BattleBotKids learn how to control their BattleBot by testing its performance against a
series of challenges using our competition mats. Excitement builds towards
the matches.
Wednesday: BattleBot Competition With a good rest the night before, Wednesday starts of with some finger
stretches and deep meditation as the kids prepare for a series of challenges
throughout the day. Continuous matches and re-matches keep the
excitement level high.
Thursday: Team Games On Thursday we put our BattleBots aside and engage in team robot games
including robot soccer, robot bowling, and robot racing and more using our

Weeks 3 & 7
Ping Pong Ball
Launcher
Monday: Intro to 3D Design & 3D PrintingEager to get right into it we tackle the fundamentals of 3D design and 3D
printing. Students will use TinkerCad to design some fun mini-projects and
print using our 3D printer. Students take home their projects from the day.
Tuesday: Design LauncherWith some Tinkercad experience under their belts, kids will tackle the
challenge of designing key launcher parts and running some test prints.
Wednesday: Finalize Design and 3D PrintWith a line of sight to finishing their launcher kids finalize their designs and
printing begins. To keep energy levels high during the printing process, we
break out Dash and Cue robots to play robot soccer, bowling, and more.
Thursday: 3D Scanning3D printing continues and we take the opportunity to introduce students to the
amazing new world of 3D scanning using our Matter & Form scanner.
Students bring in a 10-15 cm object from home to scan.
Friday: Launcher Assembly & GamesFriday launches with a burst as students assemble and test their Ping Pong
Ball Launchers. Students participate in a series of games and challenges
throughout the day to keep the energy high. Students keep their launcher.

Weeks 4 & 8
Ultimate
Robotics
Challenge
Monday: Build Base RoverThe Ultimate Robotics Challenge is a immersive experience where kids build
and program a Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot to complete a series of challenge
on our large challenge mats. Monday kids design and build their base robot.
Tuesday: Test and RefineTesting, tinkering, and more testing as kids improve on their EV3 designs and
lean the basics of programming to complete challenges.
Wednesday: Mission to MarsMars is a punishing environment and requires knowledge, skill, and teamwork
to successfully complete missions. Students will program their own robot and
work in pairs to complete a series of out-of-this world challenges! Large
challenge mats are used.
Thursday: SpyLabInspired by the TV series “Get Smart” our SpyLab challenge has kids assume
the role of secret agents as they collaborate to complete a series of
challenges and crack the code. Large challenge mats are used.
Friday: Prehistoric TimesLong before humans and robots inhabited the Earth, dinosaurs were the
dominant animals on land with a large variety of swimming and flying reptiles
ruling the oceans and sky.. Kids program their EV3 robot to capture and
transport their creatures to modern times. Large challenge mats are used.

Weeks 5, 9,
and 10
AVATARIZE
YOURSELF!
Monday: Intro to 3D Design & 3D PrintingWe think this camp will turn out to be one of our most popular ones as kids
recreate themselves digitally and in 3D physical form using our 3D printer.
Day 1 is an intro to 3D design, 3D printing, and photogrammetry.
Tuesday: Digital AvatarsDouble trouble abounds as students begin to recreate themselves digitally
using a process known as photogrammetry.
Wednesday: Digital Avatars IICreation continues as kids take their initial Avatars and refine the detail to
create digital likenesses of themselves. Congrats Mom and Dad you now
have twins!
Thursday: Transformation to Physical FormIf the digital version weren’t enough students transform their digital likeness
into 3D printed versions of themselves using 3D printing.
Friday: 3D ScanningWhile our 3D printers are busy churning our mini-mes, we will introduce
students to the amazing new world of 3D scanning using our Matter & Form
scanner. Students take home their Avatars.
