Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have a big

Volunteering can make a real difference in the lives of your neighbors and community, and greatly impact your own life in a positive way. You give and you get. Here at the Y, we cherish our volunteers. We honestly don’t know where we’d be without them. The Somerset Hills YMCA currently has over 900 individuals, youth and adults, making a difference by volunteering their time, energy, and skills in various ways.

Whether you assist with one project or offer us a lifetime of your precious time, we are always grateful. That’s the way it is here at the Somerset Hills YMCA.

The Somerset Hills YMCA was created by the community in order to serve the community. Our goal to help build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities is made possible because of people like you. We are volunteer founded, volunteer based and volunteer led.
