Get Noticed: A Linkedin Profile WorkshopAs good as that resume you have built looks, as fresh as that suit you may have just bought is and as confident as you are, you may still need some help landing that career you have always wanted. Well DECA U Ontario is here to help!

One in three professionals on the planet are on LinkedIn, and with such a great population, you sure want to stand out and not get lost a big pond!

Meagan WangIt has been an incredible journey for Meagan, from working as a cashier when she was 14 to working for one of the world’s most disruptive technology companies, LinkedIn. Meagan attended the University of Toronto where she completed a double major in Integrative Biology and Psychology. Ever since she was a kid, she had the dream of being a doctor.

It was on a casual lunch shift, where she would have a conversation that would change her trajectory of what she thought her career would be. Over a conversation with a one of her regulars at the restaurant she worked at, he suggested that she get into sales. He thought Meagan had the personality for it, and that she would be extremely successful at it. Just like that, she went home and typed “Sales Jobs Toronto” into Google and started applying for jobs. From there, Meagan had the opportunity to work at Xerox Canada, CareerBuilder, and now LinkedIn.

Being a Libra, it is without a doubt that Meagan is always trying to maintain balance - some of her favorite hobbies include playing volleyball, working out and traveling.
