The idea of TV Unisel came into the picture in August 2012

by Faculty of Communication and Media Dean Professor Dr

Azmuddin Ibrahim.

In the latest development, TV Unisel had its soft launched

in September 5 making Unisel the first university in Malaysia

to own an internet television. TV Unisel is also the first

student run base television in the country.

TV Unisel concept is education covering news, lifestyle,

leisure programs and talk shows in support of the universityobjective Shaping Society.

Currently, TV Unisel can be viewed at

https://www.youtube.com/user/tvunisel with programs called

TV Unisel Update and Truth Revealed.

Unisel is focusing to gained more students locally and

internationally. To achieve this objective, heavy promotions on Unisel need to be done extensively. TV

Unisel is one of the medium to make such matter to

happen.

TV Unisel could assist the university to announce

and advertise its events, registration, etc. Other than that,

it will also automatically boost the branding and image of

the university.

Thus , TV Unisel will also enhance the credibilityand experience of the students who are involved in

producing various programs. These students will later be

ready and prepared to serve the broadcasting industry.
