  • If you have not taken the English Placement

    test yet – the first writing took place in May-

    you can still write it in June or August.

    You cannot register for English without

    having taken the test. Delaying doing so

    may delay your graduation.

  • • Placement is based on high school grades or the

    online placement test

    • 2 CEGEP-level French courses must be passed

    • Students with weak or no French background will

    have to complete as many as 3 extra Mise à Niveau

    (Preparatory) courses: 602-011, 602-012/112, 602-008.

    If you need to take the Test and did not take it in May, the next testing periods are

    July and August.

    You cannot register for French without having taken the Test. Delaying doing so

    may delay your graduation.

    For students with a weak or no French background, this is the sequence of courses

    to follow:

    Humanities courses are general culture courses that pertain to the

    human condition. Courses are multidisciplinary in approach and

    are divided into three categories:

    2. The three middle characters must be letter codes.

    3. If the three middle characters are digits, then you are

    choosing the wrong section.

  • 1. The PCA determines whether a student has

    integrated all the learning objectives of their

    program.

    2. Different programs use different methods of

    determining the PCA:

    assignment, test, project or fieldwork/stage

    3. Takes place in the final semester

    To be in good academic standing, full-time

    students must pass:

    • more than 50% of the courses in which

    they are registered

    • a minimum of 50% of the program-

    specific courses in which they are

    registered.

    • In some programs, failing the same program-

    specific course twice leads to dismissal from the

    program.

    • In all other programs, failing the same program-

    specific course a third time leads to dismissal

    from the program.

    • The College provides a variety of support

    services to help students succeed in their

    • You can try to make change(s) to your

    schedule. For example, change the time,

    day or section of a course, or change one

    course for another.

    • Takes place Friday-Sunday, January 24-26

    • There is a $25 fee per successful change

    Once Preference Course change is over,

    schedule changes are no longer possible

    but a course can be deleted.
