Seaq Electromechanical LLC Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP)Contractor, that provides an all-encompassing design, installation,commissioning and maintenance solutions for commercial buildingrestorations and new building developments across in UAE.

There is no better way to establish an efficient workforce than tocombine the expertise within a well formulated team of designers,projects managers and engineers, who understand one another’s needswhen it comes to the design, installation and maintenance for MEPcontracts.

Seaq Electromechanical Works LLC is known for having the ability to

design a wide range of fire detection and protection systems & provide

solutions for every such need that prevent potential fire disasters. Design

management is an area that we give utmost priority and that too

complying with the DCD rules and regulations. We see that all

the installations we do are as per local authority requirements and

standards such as Dubai Civil defense, Sharjah Civil defense etc.

1 . P U R P O S E

This document describes the Construction Quality Control System established to

provide the necessary supervision, control phases and tests of all items of work,

including that of suppliers and subcontractors, that will assure the compliance of

all work with the applicable specifications and drawings with respect to the equip-

ment, materials, workmanship, construction, finish, and functional performance,

which is the responsibility of our company at the construction site.

2 . P O L I C Y

As a construction subcontractor ,our company strives to obtain a uniform, high

quality level of workmanship throughout all phases of procurement, fabrication,

construction, and installation of equipment and facilities. To assure this end, the

following principles will be observed:

A.For the purposes of this Quality Control (QC) Plan, quality is defined as con-

formance to contractual requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.

B.Quality, or conformance to requirements, is the primary responsibility of con-

struction management and the persons doing the work. The QC persons are an

added resource to help construction management and the persons doing the

work in meeting this primary responsibility.

C.SEAQ ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS L.L.C will assure the highest quality by

maintaining this QC Plan and follow its instructions governing quality control

procedures andpractices.

D.SEAQ ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS L.L.C will conform to all contractual

requirements, specifications, and applicable standards using this Quality Control

Plan. Where a discrepancy exists between this plan and the contract require-

ments, the contract requirements shall prevail.

E.SEAQ ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS L.L.C Co will compile accurate records of

test certifications and other required documentation and submit them to Con-

tractor.

F.SEAQ ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS L.L.C will notify the Contractor promptly

of quality discrepancies for immediate corrective action and assure that correc-

tive action is implemented properly. We will report these in the Daily Report.

G.The Quality Control Manager (or QC Oficer or Quality Supervisor) has suf i -

cient organizational independence to perform all QC functions and has authority

to stop work to prevent non-compliant construction products.

H.The Quality Control Manager or a designated assistant shall be on site at all

times when construction activities are ongoing to make sure that all activities are

accomplished in accordance with contract specifications, drawings and proce-

dures.

The QC manager reports to and receives authority directly from top \senior

management. He formulates and implements as required the procedures and

instructions contained in this plan. The Quality Control Manager has no other

assigned duties.

2. Other Q C Personnel

The Quality Control Manager has suficient assistants and inspectors as neces-

sary to carry out the stated functions of this Plan. The inspectors may have other

duties but cannot inspect work that is the responsibility of the organization for

which they have other duties.

3. Daily Report

Daily Report shall be recorded using the Daily Report form provided by Contrac-

tor. Th is report shall be submitted to Contractor on a daily basis.

4. Control of Onsite Construct ion

Suficient inspections of all work, including that of subcontractors, shall be

performed to assure conformance to applicable specifications and drawings

with respect to the materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional perfor-

mance, and identification. Results will be reported in the Daily Report.

5. Rec e i v i ng a n d Wa rehous i ng

Inspection of permanent construction materials received will be performed by

the Quality Control System Manager, or other contractor personnel. Visual inspec-

tion will be made for; identification, damage, completeness, evidence of compli-

ance with approvals, and proper documentation. Results of receiving inspection

will be recorded on an appropriate report form and reported in the Daily Report.

All material shall be identified and safely protected until used.

6. Drawing a n d D oc um ent Control

Contract drawing, work orders and change orders issued for construction will be

maintained and kept current and recorded as it is revised. No technical informa-

tion will be replaced or revised without receipt of properly authorized change

notice, revision or equal.

7. Materials Cert i ficationCopies of all purchase orders or subcontracts requiring receiving inspection will

be given to the Quality Control Manager for receiving and record purposes.

When the purchase order requires vendor certification of materials, equipment,

or supplies, such certification shall be verified as to accuracy and conformance

and may be used in lieu of a test for those properties covered by the certification.

Copies of all certifications received will be maintained in the Quality Control

folder and submitted to Contractor.

8. Work m a ns hi p Inspect ion

Items which will be embedded in the concrete placements or areas which will be

covered up by a following operation will be inspected by the Quality Control Man-

ager. The Quality Control Manager shall verify that all item installed are in accord-

ance with the contract drawings and specifications prior to the placement of

concrete or covering. Any corrective action required will be recorded.

4.9 Cal ibrat ion of Equipment

All contractors furnished measuring and test equipment shall be calibrated and

maintained to traceable government standards. Records of these calibration

certifications will be maintained by the Quality Control Manager and made availa-

ble to main contractor upon request.

a.Each instrument will be plainly and permanently numbered, the equipment will

be operated only by those persons directly responsible for the equipment or

personnel under their cognizance.

b.Each piece of equipment will be checked for accuracy as recommended by

manufacturer for frequency of calibration. Required calibration of measuring

and test equipment will be conducted by a certified laboratory.

c.Measuring and test equipment dropped, damaged, or believed to be inaccu-

rate will be removed from services and recalibrated.

14.10 F inal Inspect ion a n d Test

Prior to final inspection or start of tests, all systems being inspected or tested

shall be completed and accepted by the Quality Control Manager. After this

acceptance, the final inspection and test may proceed in accordance with the

following steps:

a.Verify the test personnel have a working knowledge of the special characteris-

tics of the instruments being used.

b.Note the particular inspection or test requirements and criteria for successful

completion of the required inspection or test.

c.Upon satisfactory verification of these requirements the test may proceed.

Test results will be verified and documented by the Quality Control Manager.

d.The general requirement of final acceptance will include, but not be limited to,

the following:

(1)General appearance

(2) Workmanship

(3) Cleanliness of areas and equipment

(4) Identification of equipment

(5) Painting

(6) Removal of unused material and temporary facilities

(7) Condition of Job files and completion of paperwork

(8) Conformance to standards and specifications.
