　This emblem, featuring kakitsubata (rabbit-eared iris), was designed by Professor Yutaka Takehara (presently professor emeritus). Adjoining the campus is Kozutsumi Nishi Ike, a nationally-protected habitat of irises in profusion. The loop around the iris in the emblem symbolizes the harmonious circle of the nature-loving students, faculty and clerical workers of the university.

このマークは，「カキツバタ」の花をモチーフにして竹原裕氏（本学名誉教授）がデザイン。大学近くに国の天然記念物である「小堤西池のカキツバタ群落」があり，大学を構成している学生，教員，事務職員の融和を象徴する３枚の花びらを円で囲むデザインとなっている。

愛知教育大学の学部は，明治６年に開校した愛知県養成学校に始まり，昭和24年に設置した教員養成課程と，平成29年に設置した教育支援専門職養成課程（心理コース，福祉コース，教育ガバナンスコース）からなります。一方，大学院は令和２年４月にこれまであった修士課程と教職大学院の二つを大きく改組しました。教職大学院を教育学研究科に一本化し，実践的なキャリアアップの場として位置付け，学校・地域および教育関係諸機関との連携を生かしつつ，さらなる学校教育の質的向上を目指します。学生定員が50名であった教職大学院の定員を120名にして，教育実践高度化専攻としました。専攻には，学校マネジメントコース，教科指導重点コース，児童生徒発達支援コース，地域・教育課題解決コースの４コースがあります。これは愛知県内唯一の教職大学院です。修士課程は教育支援高度化専攻（定員30名）として，臨床心理学コースと留学生対象の日本型教育グローバルコース，学校事務職員や自治体職員等が対象の教育ガバナンスキャリアコースが設置されています。また，本学は後期３年博士課程も有しており，教科開発学分野における研究力・実践力を持つ人材の育成も行っています。

学部は令和３年度から，これまでの四つの教員養成課程を「学校教員養成課程」に改組しました。学校教員養成課程の中に，幼児教育専攻，義務教育専攻，高等学校教育専攻，特別支援教育専攻，養護教育専攻を位置付けました。カリキュラムも学校体験，多文化体験，自然体験，企業体験など活動を通して体験的に学ぶ科目と，大学での講義・演習科目などにつながりをもたせる工夫をしてきました。古くは名古屋と岡崎にキャンパスがありましたが，1970年に現在の刈谷市井ケ谷に統合移転され，昨年50周年を迎えました。緑豊かなこのキャンパスは，四季折々の自然の変化を味わうことができ，教員や教育を支える専門職として必要な豊かな感性を磨くには最適であると思います。本学のシンボルマークは，愛知県の花でもある「カキツバタ」をデザインしたものです。大学から徒歩20分程度のところに，日本三大カキツバタ自生地の一つである「小堤西池のカキツバタ群落」（国指定天然記念物）があり，５月には一面に美しい花を咲かせます。私は，シーズンになると早朝に何度か足を運びます。

私は学長就任時に本学のキャッチフレーズとして，「子どもの声が聞こえるキャンパス」，「地域から頼られる大学」を掲げました。そこに謳う理想の姿を実現すべく，「愛知教育大学中長期ビジョン・目標・戦略」に「共に未来の教育を創る」という思いを込め，「未来共創プラン」と名付けました。このプランに沿って，本学を，未来を創る子どもたちのための教育大学として，学生だけでなく子どもたちの好奇心やチャレンジ精神も育むことのできる場としていく所存です。

President of Aichi University of Education

The foundation of Aichi University of Education, under the name of Aichi Prefectural Academy, dates back to 1873. In 2017, besides the traditional Teacher Training Programs (established in 1949), a group of new undergraduate programs called Training Programs for Educational Support Professionals, consisting of three courses (Psychology Course, Social Work Course, and Educational Administration and Governance Course) was launched. As to the graduate programs, the master's courses in Graduate School of Education and Professional School for Teacher Education went through a large-scale reorganization in April 2020. With the aim of enhancing the graduates' practical skills and career opportunities, Professional School for Teacher Education was integrated into Graduate School of Education. We will work for further improvement of the quality of school education by keeping close ties with schools, communities and educational organizations. The quota for Program for Advanced Education Practitioners (formerly Graduate School of Practitioners in Education), consisting of four courses (School Management Courses, Courses Focused on Teaching School Subjects, Courses for Supporting Human Development, and Courses for Solving Regional and Educational Problems) was increased from 50 to 120. It is the one and only Professional School for Teacher Education in Aichi Prefecture. The new master's programs (quota: 30) is called Program for Advanced Education Colleagues, which comprise a Clinical Psychology Course, Japanese-Style Education Course (for international students) and Educational Governance Career Course (for school/local-government clerical workers). Our three-year Doctoral Course in Subject Development continues to produce competent personnel equipped with researching expertise and practical skills.

In 2021, by reorganizing the four former undergraduate programs, we set up School Teacher Training Programs, consisting of Major in Early Childhood Education, Major in Compulsory Education, Major in High School Education, Major in Special Needs Education, and Major in School Health Education. The new curriculum has been designed to link students' real-life experiences (e.g., hands-on learning, multicultural experiences, contacts with nature, and workplace experiences) with their academic studies (lectures, seminars & experiments). Fifty years have passed since our two separate campuses, one in Nagoya and the other in Okazaki, were merged and moved to the present location in Igaya-cho, Kariya in 1970. Surrounded by natural beauty and pure greenery, we have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beauty of seasonal transitions. Our campus provides an ideal environment for prospective teachers and educational practitioners to cultivate and enrich their sensitivity. The emblem of our university features kakitsubata (rabbit-eared iris), which is, incidentally, the prefectural flower of Aichi. Kozutsumi Nishi Ike Pond, a natural monument designated by the Japanese Government as one of three habitats of kakitsubata in Japan, lies close to our campus (approximately 20 minutes on foot). The beautiful purple flower blooms in profusion in May. Every year in the season I visit the spot several times early in the morning.

On taking office as the president, I set up two slogans, 'A campus alive with the sounds of children's voices' and 'A university at one with the community.' To measure up to my ideal and to create future education in collaboration with everyone connected to the project, I have named the mid- & long-term visions, objective and strategies of Aichi University of Education 'Plan to co-create the future.' In line with the visions, we will exert our effort to help encourage and develop curiosity and can-do spirit of our students and school children.

授業開講期間の平日は９時から22時，土・日・祝日は11時から17時まで開館し，学生・教職員さらに地域の方々に利用しやすい環境となっている。

また，平成29年度の改修において，模擬授業ルーム，メディアコモンズ，サイレントルーム，研究室，大学史資料展示室を新設したほか，グループでの議論に活用できるアクティブ・ラーニングスペースを拡大し，利用者の様々な要望に応えられるよう施設面を充実させた。

なお，チェンバレン・杉浦文庫をはじめとする貴重なコレクションを多数所蔵し，学生のみならず，学内外の研究者に広く利用されている。

The library is open 9-22 on weekdays, and 11-17 on weekends and holidays during semesters for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff as well as the local community.

A number of new features have been added with the 2017 improvement work, which include a mock classroom to be used by students, a media commons (iPads-installed ICT room) for students, a silent room for reading, private research rooms, and the University Archives Exhibition Room. The active learning space for group discussions has been enlarged and upgraded. All of the improvements were made in compliance with the diverse wishes of the users.

The university’s collection of valuable books and materials, including the B.H. Chamberlain and T. Sugiura Collection, are widely used by students, as well as researchers on and off campus.

健康支援センター　Health Service Center健康支援センターは，学生および教職員の健康管理に関する業務を行う施設である。

健康相談，応急処置，心理療法等の学生相談業務を行っている。This center administers health care for students, faculty and staff

environmental safeguards in our university. We can offer student counseling such as health care, firstaid, psychotherapy.

ICT教育基盤センター　Center for Information and Communication TechnologyICT 教育基盤センターは，本学の ICT 教育の実施および支援，ならびに教育研究のた

めの学術情報処理に資することを目的とした学内共同利用施設である。学内の ICT 基盤および情報システムの運用管理，ならびに各種情報サービスの提供を行っている。

This center is a dual-purpose facility that is tasked with implementing and supporting the ICT education of students, and supporting the research and academic activities of the university with information processing services. The center operates and maintains control of the ICT infrastructure and information systems, and facilitates information services across the university.

キャリア支援センター　Career Support Centerキャリア支援センターは，学生の主体的なキャリア設計・就職活動等に関する基本方

針の策定等を行い，就職支援・キャリア形成支援・卒業後支援プログラム等を通して社会で活躍する「知」を備えた人材を世に送り出すための支援を行っている。

This center formulates and carries out a basic plan to aid students' initiative in planning their future careers. Through employment assistance, career buildup counselling, follow-up support, the center takes an active part in sending competent graduates into the world.

教員養成開発連携センター　Center for Teacher Education Development through Partnerships教員養成開発連携センターは，北海道，愛知，東京，大阪の４教員養成系大学が教員養成機能の強化・充実を図ることを目的とし取り組んでき

た事業（ＨＡＴＯプロジェクト）を継承し，4 大学が連携し日本の教員養成の諸課題に積極的に対応する活動拠点となっている。This center is Aichi University of Education’s base of operations for carrying on and promoting the HATO Project, a cooperative

project of four teacher training universities (Hokkaido, Aichi, Tokyo and Osaka) in addressing various issues concerning Japanese teacher training programs.

学生支援施設Welfare Facilities

次世代教育イノベーション棟　Educational Innovation Hall役目を終えたボイラー室を改修し，新たに教育イノベーション棟として令和元年に生

まれ変わった。建物内は研究発表や講演会に使用できる小ホールとしての活用や，企業との共同研究，模擬授業，アクティブラーニング等，広く活用されている。

The disused boiler room was refurbished and turned into Educational Innovation Hall in 2019, It houses a small hall, which is widely used for various activities, such as research presentations, lectures, joint research activities with private companies, practice classes, active learnings.

なんでも相談室　Office for General Advice and Counseling学生生活を送る上で困ったことや分からないことが起きた時に気軽に相談できる場所

として平成 28 年４月に開設された。その他，学生の修学や大学生活の充実に向けた総合的な相談窓口として，関係部署へ

の連絡調整を行うハブ的な役割を担うとともに，障がいに対する社会的障壁の除去等に関する相談受付と関係部署への連絡調整も担当している。

The office was established in April 2016 in order to give general advice and provide counselling to students who are in trouble or have difficulty.

In addition, as a general office which aims to improve students' studies and daily life, it plays an important role as a hub in communication and coordination with related departments. It also deals with consultation requests regarding removing social barriers that hinder people with disabilities.

インクルーシブ教育推進センター　Center for Inclusive Educationインクルーシブ教育推進センターは，県内外の幼稚園，小学校，中学校，高等学校，中等教育学校，特別支援学校等の教育機関と連携し，共生

社会の形成に向けたインクルーシブ教育を推進している。そのために，情報収集および情報発信，教員向けの研修を実施し，地域の教育機関等と連携を図り，必要に応じて支援を行っている。

For the purpose of building a tolerant pluralistic society, this center promotes inclusive education, in cooperation with schools in and around Aichi Prefecture (kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary schools, schools for special needs education). It collects, shares information and carries out support activities, as the need arises.

日本語教育支援センター　Japanese Language Learning and Teaching Support Center日本語教育支援センターは，増加する外国人の日本語指導等に寄与することを目的と

し，外国人児童生徒の集団適応と学習支援，日本語指導者の育成・研修，日本語指導に関する調査・研究，教材開発，成果の普及・発信などの業務を行うため，令和２年４月に設立した。

This center was established in April 2020, in response to the increasing need of teaching Japanese as a second language. It supports non-Japanese children's adaptation to the school community, and assists their learning. It also engages in the training of JSL teachers, conducting researches, developing teaching materials, and disseminating the results.

1218 席を有し，広いステージと，ロビーの床モザイク・レリーフが特徴。緞帳の「三本の樹」は，やる気（樹）・根気（樹）・元気（樹）という子どもたちの成長や発達における三つの気力を表現している。また，講堂正面の「水煙」は奈良県の薬師寺のものと同寸同形である。

The Auditorium has 1218 seats. It features a wide stage, and machinery, and a lobby floor decorated with mosaic reliefs. The three kis (trees) on the drop curtain symbolizes three indispensable elements for children’s growth and development: yaruki (will) , konki (patience) and genki (energy). The bronze sculpture in front of the auditorium is an exact replica of water-smoke, the spearhead of the famous pagoda of Yakushiji temple in Nara.

国際教育棟　International Education Building職員宿舎を改修し，新たに国際教育棟として令和２年に生まれ変わった。１階から３階を

外国人のための日本語教育支援センター ,４階と５階を留学生と日本人学生の混住型留学生宿舎とし，多文化体験の場や，留学生・外国人のための日本語教育の場として活用している。

International Education Building was opened in 2020 after an extensive renovation of an old staff residence. The first through third floors house Japanese as a Second Language Support Center, which offers lessons to nonnative residents in the local community. The fourth and fifth floors house international residence for both International and Japanese students. The building as a whole serves as facilities for multicultural experiences and Japanese language teaching/learning.

国際交流会館　International House外国人留学生および外国人研究者用の宿舎として，単身棟（24 戸），夫婦家族棟（６

戸），共用棟（多目的ホール・事務室）があり，世界各国の留学生等が生活している。International House, consisting of three interconnected buildings, provides

residence for international students and researchers. The residence hall comprises 24 rooms for single students and researchers. The apartment complex is the home for six couples and families. The common hall has a multi-purpose activity room and an office.

学生寮　Student Dormitories大学の敷地内に男子棟２棟（部屋数 64）女子棟４棟（部屋数 128）があり，各棟

は全個室となっている。管理棟には自習室，談話室，集会ホールが設けられている。キャンパス内にあるため，時間の有効活用にも役立っている。

There are two male dormitories (64 single rooms) and four female dormitories (128 single rooms) on campus. The administration building houses a study hall, a lounge, and an assembly hall. The residents, living on cammpus, can make effective use of their time.

ＡＵＥセミナーハウス　AUE Seminar House老朽化した学生合宿所を従来の課外活動の場とした機能だけでなく，

教育研究のための研修セミナーや授業ゼミなどへの利用に拡大し，学生・教職員の誰もが利用できる施設として平成 30 年度にＡＵＥ（Aichi University of Education）セミナーハウスとして整備した。

Wholly rebuilt in 2018, the AUE Seminar House is used in a variety of ways. Besides its conventional use as a student clubhouse for extracurricular activities, it is now open for students, faculty and staff to participate in research and training, to hold seminars, etc.

福利施設　Welfare Facilitiesキャンパス内に二つの福利施設が設置され，平成 24 ～25 年にいずれもリニューアルさ

れた。両施設には食堂のほか，第一福利施設に購買・プレイガイド・書籍部等があり，学生・教職員のキャンパスライフを支えている。

There are two welfare facilities on the campus, which were remodeled and modernized in 2012-2013. In addition to good-sized dining halls provided in both facilities, the first unit houses a cooperative store, a ticket agency and a bookstore, supporting campus life of students, faculty and staff.

大学会館　Lakeside Lounge and Assembly Hall共同談話室，和室，コミュニティスペース等があり学生の課外活動，芸術・文化活動，学生と教職員のコミュニケーションや地域との交流の場として，

広く利用されている。The facilities include a lounge, a Japanese-style room, and a community space. They are widely used for students’ extracurricular

activities, arts and cultural activities, as well as being a communication space between students, faculty, staff and local communities.

「主体的・協働的な学び」を実践できる教員の養成－アクティブ・ラーニングを導入した新たな学習指導方法等の開発－Educating teachers to acquire skill in practicing 'Active and Cooperative Learning': Development of new teaching methods using Active-Learning

主体的に考え表現する「学習者中心の双方向的な学習」の授業形態（アクティブ・ラーニング）を導入した授業の実施が重要であり，初等・中等・大学教育において「知の活用」「確かな学力」をもった教員育成を図るためにアクティブ・ラーニングを導入した新たな学習指導方法を開発し，「主体的・協働的な学び」を学校現場で実践できる教員を養成するとともに，現職教員に向けた研修を実施する。It is important to practice learner-oriented and reciprocal learning in classes, viz. 'Active Learning.' In order to advance 'Active and Cooperative Learning' in school, AUE will develop new learner guiding methods to provide both prospective and in-service teachers with skills of activating learners' knowledge and of cultivating positive academic abilities, from elementary and middle through university levels.

学部と大学院をシームレスに接続した高度教員養成プログラムの開発，実施，充実－ 6 年一貫教員養成高度化コースの設置－Establishment, Implementation and Enhancement of Six-year Advanced Teacher Training Program, which seamlessly connects graduate school to undergraduate courses

高い教科専門性のみではなく，生徒が直面する多様な現代的教育課題を総合的に把握し，的確に対応できる高度な実践的指導力を有する人材を養成することを目的とし，学部と大学院の６年間をシームレスに接続した６年一貫教員養成高度化コース（アドバンスト・サイエンスコース）を学校現場，入学希望者等のニーズの調査結果を踏まえ，その設置に向けた教育カリキュラムの開発及び組織的運営体制について検討を行う。We are establishing a BE/ME joint degree program (Advanced Science Course) which aims to educate teachers who are highly specialized in subjects as well as equipped with advanced practical skills in coping with various present-day issues in education. After conducting a survey of the needs of schools and prospective students, we will start working on its curriculum and functional management structure.

新入学者選抜導入Introcuction of the selection of new students

高大接続改革を踏まえ，第 3 期中期目標・中期計画及びアドミッション・ポリシーに基づき，現行の入試制度の検証を行い，教職及び教育支援専門職を志す者の能力，意欲，適性を多面的・総合的に評価する教員養成大学ならではの新しい入学者選抜方法を構築する。In connection with the high school-university linking reform, this project aims to create new student selection measures appropriate for a teacher training university. By reviewing the present entrance examination system in accordance with AUE's third-period aims and objectives and admission policy, it will design new student admission measures, including assessment of each applicant's scholastic ability, eagerness and aptitude for teaching or education supporting profession.

現代的教育課題対応科目開講による高度な教員養成Advanced Teacher Training, by the addition of courses addressing present-day issues in education

教師教養科目・現代的教育課題対応科目を学部学生全員に必修授業として開講する。アンケート調査を実施し，検証，分析した結果を活かすことにより，教育効果の向上を図り，高度な教員を養成する。With a view to train highly qualified teachers, we require all students to take a liberal art course for teachers and a course in present-day issues in school education. By conducting a survey by questionnaire, we verify its effects and make necessary improvements.

実践力育成科目開講による高度な教員養成Training higher quality teachers by providing courses focused on practical teaching power development

教師教養科目・実践力育成科目を学部学生全員に必修授業として開講する。アンケート調査を実施し，検証，分析した結果を活かすことにより，教育効果の向上を図り，高度な教員を養成する。With a view to train highly qualified teachers, a liberal art course for teachers and a course to develop practical teaching skills are made obligatory for all students. We will later conduct a survey by questionnaire, verify its effects and make changes for improvements.

グローバル人材養成プログラムの実施，充実Implementation and improvement of the programs focused on human resource development in the globalized environment

令和２年度からの小学校英語科目の開始，外国語活動の低学年化に伴い，一定以上の英語力と国際的な視野と経験を持つ小学校教員の輩出は，とりわけ学校数の多い愛知県では喫緊の課題である。また，ものづくりが盛んで，多くの外国人労働者が集まる中部地方においては，外国人児童生徒への教育を円滑に進めるため，グローバルな視野を持ち，グローバル社会で活躍できる教員を養成することも大きな課題である。以上の地域固有の教育課題への支援策として，前年度までに開発を進めた養成プログラムを実施しつつ，そのさらなる充実策や課題を検討する。English became an elementary school subject in 2020. Aichi Prefecture, with its many schools, needs a large number of teachers with sufficient English proficiency, a globalized viewpoint and international experiences. Moreover, Central Japan with its thriving manufacturing industries attracts many workers from overseas, who find jobs in the region. There is a great need of teachers with cosmopolitan outlook in order to facilitate education of non-Japanese children growing up in Aichi, as well as teachers who are ready to play active roles in the international society. To cope with this regions-specific situation, we will reinforce the programs we have developed thus far, examining their effects and continue working for their enrichment.

大学連携によるアジアを中心とする海外の教育人材育成支援の実施，充実－カンボジアの学校教育指導者の養成及び健康教育等への支援－　Implementation and enrichment of support programs for overseas human resource development in education, as part of the academic partnership projects centering on Asia: Programs for leader training in education, support programs in health education, etc. in Cambodia

日本のものづくりの拠点であり，国際的な産業の集積地である中部地方において，大学連携による国際化の加速度推進を梃子として，本学及び名古屋大学，三重大学，岐阜大学が，それぞれの大学の特色並びに強みを活かしつつ，協働・連携することを軸に，JICA 等の国際協力機関や組織とも連携し，カンボジアをはじめとするアジアの学校教育指導者の養成及び健康教育等の普及によりアジアの教育人材育成を支援する。Central Japan is a hub of manufacturing companies and the focal point for industries of international fame. As part of our effort to accelerate internationalization, we have formed a consortium with Nagoya University, Mie University and Gifu University for utilizing each one’s forte in assisting JICA and other international cooperation agencies. AUE will continue to help develop human resources in Cambodia and other Asian countries by training prospective leaders in the field of education, promoting and spreading health education, etc.

日本語指導プログラムの策定・実施，充実－外国人児童生徒学習支援プロジェクト－Development, reinforcement and enrichment of programs for teaching the Japanese language to non-Japanese children: Project for supporting foreign students’ schoolwork

本学が立地する愛知県及び東海地方は，日本語学習の支援を必要とする外国人児童生徒及び労働者が多い地域であるため，地方公共団体等と連携して，ボランティア活動に参加する人の指導技術向上のプログラム等を策定し，日本語教育の支援活動を普及させる。そのための調査活動，学生向けの啓発活動，教材作成などを行う。AUE is situated in Aichi Prefecture, Tokai Region, where a large number of workers from overseas come and work. Their children, lacking sufficient knowledge of the Japanese language, have difficulty in keeping up with schoolworks. In cooperation with regional public bodies, AUE will conduct researches, inspire students and compile teaching materials, for the purposes of improving volunteer-teachers' skills and of spreading Japanese teaching activities.

地域における科学・ものづくり教育の実施，充実－理科離れ克服の科学・ものづくり教育の推進プロジェクト－Implementation and enrichment of science and manufacturing education in the region: A project for turning students’ dislike of science into successful science and manufacturing education

ものづくりが盛んな地域の教員養成大学という特性を生かし，「訪問科学実験」等の実施を通して，文系理系を問わず，科学・ものづくり教育に関して，十分な知識と高い指導力を有する教員を養成し，教育現場における科学・ものづくり教育の向上と活性化を図る。さらに，全国の教員養成系大学・学部とのネットワーク化等により，理科実験・ものづくりのできる教員の養成と育成，現職教員を支援する活動を展開する。Utilizing its forte as a teacher training university situated in a thriving manufacturing region, AUE will help improve and activate science and manufacturing education in schools, by training its students, irrespective of their majors, to acquire ample knowledge and good leadership skills in science and manufacturing education. At the same time, we will promote and expand science and manufacturing education through the network of universities (and faculties) of education all over Japan, and will play an active role in teacher education and in-service training.

現職教員研修プログラムの実施，充実Implementation and enrichment of in-service training programs for teachers

『学び続ける教員像』の実施・充実のために，これまで愛知県教育委員会と名古屋市教育委員会と連携して構築した「中堅教員・管理職研修」，及び「教育委員研修」等のプログラムの更なる充実を図り，その効果を実証する。次に，本学関係の各種の教員研修（初任者・若手，及び特定課題研修等）を再整理し，「教員の育成指標」との対応を図り，教職大学院におけるラーニング・ポイント制の設置を目指す。また，「広域拠点型教育大学」として中部・東海地方の教育委員会，及び大学との連絡会議の設置を検討し，プログラムの充実・拡大を図ることとする。For implementing and advancing the 'Image of Teachers who Keep on Learning Throughout their Lifetimes,' AUE has been in collaboration with Aichi Prefectural Board of Education and Nagoya City Board of Education in establishing teachers' mid-career training as well as in-service training of school administrators and members of the board of education. We make further efforts to enhance and corroborate those programs. Secondly, we plan to review various training programs ('new teacher'/'young teacher'/'specific topic) conducted on campus, in light of the guidelines on teacher education, and establish a learning point system in Graduate School of Practitioners in Education. Additionally, for the enrichment and expansion of the programs, we will try to establish a liaison council with boards of education in the Tokai District and Central Japan and other universities, acting as a hub university of education in the region.

「チーム学校」に必要な学校教職員の質向上を行うための組織強化Strengthening the idea of the Solidarity of a ‘Team School’ where there is Qualitative Improvement of essential School Personnel

愛知県教育委員会等と連携して「学び続ける教職員像」の確立に向け，新たな研修体制の構築及び研修プログラムの開発・実施を行う。さらに，教員と連携・協働してチーム学校を支える専門スタッフを養成する「教育支援専門職養成課程」の設置等の学部改革，大学院改革を推進するために教職キャリアセンターを強化充実させる。With the aim of establishing the 'Image of Teachers who Keep on Learning Throughout their Lifetimes,' AUE will develop and implement a new in-service training system, in collaboration with Aichi Prefectural Board of Education and other boards of education. The role of Teaching Career Center will be strengthened to propel AUE's educational reform, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the establishment of 'Training Programs for Educational Support Professionals' in response to the needs for qualified human resource to work with teachers in solidifying 'Team School.'

本学は，特に体育施設の整備に力を入れている。水泳プール，陸上競技場からはオリンピック出場選手も生まれた。Sports facilities on the campus of Aichi University of Education are diverse and excellent. Our swimming pool and athletic field

愛知教育大学の淵源は，日本の近代学校の発足と期を一にして，明治６（1873）年に開校した愛知県養成学校に始まる。第二次大戦後の学制改革の中で，昭和24（1949）年5月に愛知第一師範学校，愛知第二師範学校および愛知青年師範学校を統合し，新制国立大学の一つとして「有意な教員を養成」することを目的に，学芸学部１学部からなる愛知学芸大学が発足。昭和41（1966）年には，愛知教育大学および教育学部に名称を変更し，昭和62（1987）年には，教員養成課程の定員の一部（約40%）を移し，総合科学課程を設置した。平成16（2004）年，国立大学法人法施行に伴い，国立大学法人愛知教育大学を設立し，現在に至る。愛知教育大学は，教員養成を行う学校教員養成課程と教育支援専門職養成課程からなる教育学部に加え，大学院では専門職学位課程（教職大学院の課程），修士課程および後期３年博士課程を含む教育学研究科を有している。

The history of Aichi University of Education began with the start of the modern school system in Japan in 1873. Our predecessor, Aichi Prefectural Academy, later developed into three Normal schools in the region, Aichi First Normal College, Aichi Second Normal College and Aichi Normal College of Vocational Education. After World War II, as part of the overall educational reform, the three normal colleges were consolidated into Aichi Gakugei University (Faculty of Arts and Sciences) and became one of the new national universities in May 1949, and kept on training competent teachers. The name Aichi University of Education (Faculty of Education) was adopted in 1966. In 1987, the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences was added. In 2004, the university was incorporated as the National University Corporation Aichi University of Education, in accordance with the enforcement of National University Cooperation Law. It now has five under-graduate programs (Four Teacher-training Programs and Training Programs for Educational Support Professionals, and the Graduate School of Education, which includes Program for Advanced Educational Practitioners (Graduate School of Practitioners in Education), Master's Course, and Doctoral Program in Subject Development (three-year program).
