He later joined IIT, Delhi for his Ph.D. in Algebra, more specifically, Group Theory. He had been teaching mathematics in his capacity as Professor of Mathematics at VIT, Vellore, University at Kanchi and at ITM University, Gurgaon. He had been interested in security problems in cryptography using graph theoretic and number theoretic techniques. He has been publishing his results with two of his erstwhile colleagues at VIT and a couple of them had been published in standard journals. Professor Chandramowliswarn has a flair for teaching and he is generally known to tell more to his students than what is usually contained in the syllabus. In my opinion, he is a person with an innate interest in mathematics and that he would prove to be a good acquisition to any Institution that wants to promote Teaching and Research in Mathematics. Dr. N. Chandramowliswarn was my student when he did his M.Sc. in Mathematics
