Research interests:
1. Experience in synthetic and medicinal organic chemistry; The synthesis of
new heterocycles with potent biological activities; The regioselectivity and
reaction mechanisms of cycloaddition reactions of nitrilimines and
azoniaallene; The stereoselectivite synthesis of N2-arylamidrazones; Synthesis
and reactivity of enaminones, carbohydrazides and aroyacetonitriles,
Neucleosides analougas.
2. Expertise in the using of microwave irradiation as a mean of green chemistry
in the preparation of heterocyclic compounds (Microwave reactor, Initiator-
2.5, Biotage, Sweden and Microwave reactor, Explorer-48, CEM, USA).
3. Design, synthesis and evaluation of small combinatorial libraries with
potential biological activity.
4. Familiarity with the modern technique of chromatography separation (Flash
chromatography separation).
5. Familiarity with the utility of X-ray diffraction analyses in absolute
determination of organic structures and the role of hydrogen interactions in
directing the molecular assembly in solid stat of organic structures.
6. Extensive use and interpretation of instrumental data, including Mass
Spectrometry, IR, UV, 1H, 13C and 2D-NMR spectroscopy.
