Be a competent, compassionate nurse leader
Patients are the most important reason I am a nurse. My first goal as a graduate
is to become an expert bedside nurse, providing the best care through
evidence-based technical proficiency, patient-centered teamwork, and
therapeutic relationships.

Affect positive, patient-centered change in my unit and
institution.
I am dedicated to patient advocacy, championing evidence-based
interventions for individual patients as well as systemic support for patient
safety, satisfaction, and outcomes. I utilize national networks as
resources to learn and share best practices.
